As a Brit, it's so strange that these things are so foreign for you, curry and tea are basically molded in to British culture at this point. I recommend Chicken Tikka Masala (Or my fav Butter Chicken) curry with Pilau rice and Garlic naan bread and/or Papadums.

Its a south indian film (Tollywood they call it 😅), which is kind of meant to be cringy and over the top with the fight scenes and story. Think of it as a parody movie, the creators don't think its a parody movie, but everyone who watches it knows it is 😛 PS The lead guy, long haired RDJ dude, hez considered and even worshipped like he is a god by people in south indian states. That electromagnetic shit scene was kind of a play on that situation. 😁😅

it's not really VERY common. most americans don't eat curry on a weekly basis or hell some people only have it once a month or few times a year or even less than that. compared to what americans eat over all it's very FAR from being VERY COMMON. maybe if you live in a big city where you can find places that make it frequently like New York or LA. but nah, curry isn't the most common thing. and it's probs not that they haven't had it before, it's just that it's all about "the experience" so doing what the cultures food has and a movie from them isn't bad. but if they haven't had it i'd be surprised.

America is one of the most powerful, richest, far reaching countries in the world with some of the most food dependant people in the world (in the sense that y'all statistically eat so much) and indian is pretty good food, so i just assumed it would have been eaten in america. especially as americas culture is basically just taking parts of culture from othher countries and mixing it all together. I remember watching that movie when i was 10, it was so weird even for Indian standard. There was 1 scene where the robot help to deliver a baby by rubbing on the pregnant patient's belly so that the baby can be in a correct position. Also, another scene where the robot turn aggressive and start occupying this huge building to hold the girl hostage and explain her that she can make a baby with him with advanced technology. If james and aleks are going to do another foreign import on Indian films, they should watch Sivaji, a movie which have the same male actor, but this time he is a director of a university who goes around and beat the shit out of corrupt politicians and give the money to the poor.
