But he does not have indian passport, instead he has OCI card. In the NRI documents, it is mentioned to provide a passport/visa. My question, can OCI sponsor a NRI sponsorship or only NRI who has indian passport can sponsor?

There is no OCI quota in AIIMS Delhi. You have to compete only under the general category. AIIMS Delhi only has foreigners quota, for which OCIs are not eligible.

Maternal Uncle refers to your mother's brother. Your mother's sister can sponsor you. Your mother's sister's husband cannot sponsor you.

Sir I have to declare my self as a NRI. Because I understand that MCC registration time I have to choose NRI option. Or before registration starts I have declare my status is NRI.

If you want to convert your status as NRI, you should wait for MCC notification. Then, send the required documents to MCC. Once MCC accepts your documents, then only you will get NRI option.

You have to bring the original documents during the admission process. Copy of the passport and visa should be fine. But, other documents like NRI certificate and affidavits should be original.

@@JustGetMBBSA few more queries, 1. Can the relationship affidavit be produced from the sponsor and notarized or only from the consulate. 2. Are the formats for both the affidavits given by mcc? 3. Is the relationship certificate just a document stating the relation or are there more parts to it?

@@Sneha-yw4si 1. It's preferably obtained from Consulate or from revenue department here. If you just have an affidavit, get proper government documents to prove and trace the relationship. 2. MCC has not provided any format. Some universities may have provided formats. 3. It's better to include a relationship tree.
