Lynn Dunn was a big part of the fever when they won their Championship back in the day. She was demoted to senior advisor. She was only supposed to be here on a temporary basis anyways because she came out of retirement to be general manager for the last year and a half😊

I'm pretty sure Sides will be let go. The new leadership will want to get their own people in all of the key positions. They'll probably want to have the new coach all locked up before they make the announcement, though.

GM Lin Dunn is no longer GM, and a new GM Amber Cox is hired It's all looking good so far, except for one thing - Christie Sides must go - til Christie Sides is officially gone, fired, then the Indiana Fever 2025 season will be at risk of failure once again. The Indiana Fever has a chance to become a championship dynasty team with Caitlin Clark on the court at the helm with a new head coach that knows how to play winning basketball, is aggressive, is not afraid to make decisions, most importantly makes it known to all supports and protects Caitlin Clark without equivocation, along with attaining free agent players with great defensive and offensive skills critically deepening the Fever's bench

I think Sides is a better as an assistant coach vs head coach. I feel like she's not the most compatible coach for CC's style of play. Sides struggles to coach the fast pace tempo and wants to always fall back to the slow half court paint touches style but that's when the team struggled against teams with better defense. She doesn't really stand up for CC or her players as much as a coach like Becky Hammond and a young team would benefit from a coach who will back them up during games. I think Sides is a nice person but too much of a push over, letting Seattle coach yell at her for not clearing the bench and saying sorry. Idk someone with more experience would benefit a young team and give them more confidence. I expect teams to continue to be envy of the fever next year play them hard every game like this year so everything that can help, like a better coach, would be better for the team.
