Shout Out to The Connecticut Sun for only being able to have only one day to practice for the playoffs where The Indiana Fever was able to get enough time to prepare for the Playoff; then on top of that The Connecticut Sun weren't able to get a proper facility to train yesterday; they had to share a court with a community center event going on next to them while they were practicing, it was sad. Hopefully The Connecticut Sun owners gets this team a proper facility to practice and train

Fever fan here, I’m hoping this gets resolved. It’s crazy to think the WNBA doesn’t put enough time and effort into making the best available for every team so the fans can enjoy top level production. It’s a business, why wouldn’t they want to provide enough time and resources to the things that make them money. They should be riding this Caitlin Clark wave out as much as they can. Put her on everything, on the banners on the commercials, make her the poster child for the league, while also pumping up the other teams and players alongside. CC may not always play. She could get injured and sit the bench a whole season and where would the WNBA be then? Not that nobody would watch, but the hype and excitement would be gone. They call it a hype train for a reason, and they should be riding it. I think CC is just going to get better and better and dominate the league, but to not take advantage of it is crazy. Giving the Suns everything they need to make this the best play they could produce should have been a money decision too. It feels like it’s Caitlin or nothing, and the WNBA is choosing nothing while letting CC carry them.

I think you're mostly referring to CC stans, many of whom don't really understand basketball and view it more as a soap opera - interpersonal drama over the actual sport. The reality is, the fever went from being the worst team in the league to middle of the pack, with the potential to upset the top teams on a good day. I expect them to lose to the Suns and exit the playoffs, but there's no way the Fever will look at this year as a disappointment given where they started.

Two issues the Fever have had all year have come to bite them: Defensive rebounding and Mitchell & Clarke's on & off ball defense. Unless this team is scoring it is really hard to keep them both on the floor from a defensive standpoint. Tonight they were really ball watching off ball and the Suns made them pay with good shooting. On ball defense is also not great from these girls, and it doesn't help that the Fever don't fight enough when they get in rotation. It is basically one rotation and then they are beat. They just need to stay attached and keep fighting in rotation.

Of course they lost by a lot that’s what happens when you rig the game. The reverse image showing Carrington changing her open hand to a claw ramming it into Caitlin’s eye. You need two eyes for depth perception. You need depth perception, and hand and eye coordination to make the shots. Just the amount of swelling and bruising under Caitlin‘s eye was enough to throw off from her depth perception.

Terrible is a little harsh! She is young, inexperienced and her team is better served to live with some (a lot) of defensive mistakes, while getting some very good passing and (normaly) shooting. She certainly has the court awareness to be better at boxing out, reacting to passes near her, etc., but she clearly needs to first improve her stamina, to have more energy for the defensive side of the court.

If the WNBA wants to be taken seriously as a professional league, and retain the current wave of interest, it had BETTER call fouls on obvious flagrants like the one against CC, and suspend and fine any of these players pulling that BS. There are FOUR men's pro sports leagues that can be followed other than the WNBA, it had better remember and understand that, deeply. It is on a VERY short leash.

Last game the fever looked better without Clark on the floor and today they didn't looked good either. I'm starting to see holes in her game has no defense and no intensity and didn't create her own shot missed a lot of shots. If she wants to be recognized as a top wnba player this is where the top players play their best not their worse!
