Yep! I first heard that it was gonna be FPS and I was.... not happy. But then I heard that it was MachineGames who made Wolfenstein: New Order, Old Blood, and New Colossus... three SOLID FPS games. And that brought my confidence back

Funny enough, Great Circle takes place in the middle between Raiders and Last Crusade so its in 1937, also WW2 didn't really battling yet, there was a Japan and China War, so that's why Indiana is jumping on a Japanese war plane. Just letting you guys know. Loving Troy Baker as Indiana Jones, he sold it for me.

The story of the game of certain archeological sites on the planet forming a perfect circle is actually based on fact. At least, according to a documentary i saw a few years ago. Also, the guy talking to indy in the first scene sort of reminds me of a dutch actor named Jeroen Krabbe, when he was still young.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Original Indy films are set in the 1930s. not the 1940s. It's set before the outbreak of the second world war, but when the nazis were in power in Germany typically. Of course, the Temple of Doom didn't use Nazis.

It’s a 1st person game with cut scene/ interaction moments in 3rd person. I’m hyped for the game but it should have been options for doing 3rd person or 1st person. Would add far more gameplay value and they made an amazing Indy model and we only get to see him occasionally? That’s a really crap thing to do.

I thought the same about Cyberpunk but now I can't imagine it any other way. However, there are like a dozen Uncharted and Tomb Raider games combined that prove 3rd person is the way to go with this genre😂 But maybe that's why they made it an fps, so that it stands out.

But when you're playing an iconic character like Indiana Jones, I feel like it'll better in 3rd person so I can see him. Like imagine if the Arkham Series was in 1st person or Marvel's Spider-Man, that'll be so weird hahaha

Yes, you can obviously tell it's Troy (I heard it right from the get go before it was even officially revealed to be him), BUT I think Troy has absolutely NAILED Harrison's cadence. It's not a perfect match in tone, but the cadence is right there. I think he sounds great personally.

Now, WHY couldn't THIS be released in theaters as a CGI-Animated feature film, with the star actors voicing their characters (Respeecher, if needed, to get the more youthful tones of Indy and friends)?!. My guess is, this is taking place sometime between 1944 and 1946. I guarantee, this story mode is probably more of a crowd-pleaser than that live-action movie that was released last Summer...the one I still haven't watched (and probably never will).

Have you never heard the titles of Indiana Jones movies? They are literally subtitles of the story of the movie. The great circle also has a documentary because it's actually true... we just don't know the reason behind it (only theories).
