@@knightfall209 yea there stories about hitler actually being obsessed about precious artifacts like the Ark of the covernant for example.During his regime according to some stories i read, expeditions where carried out in foreign places to search for the jewish ark of covernant and other artifacts.

@@okosuntom2808 In fact such idiocy took a noteworthy toll on the war budget. Troops and money which could have been invested into the war effort, for example enforcing important fronlines or something where invested into investigating the occult. I mean in such movies it makes sense since supernatural does actually exist but in reality it was madness. On the otherhand it was probably for the best. One of the many things that let to their ultimate downfall after all.

@@Raffney so true.Hitler spent quite a lot of Germany's budget searching for artifacts across the would that he believed would glorify his third reich.apart for the search for the games jewish ark of covenant he also sent a number of expeditions to Tibet under himmler to search for swastikas buried underground. He believed aryan origins started in Tibet.Crazy man he was.

Like much of what Spielberg does with Nazism, it's not a subtle point he's making: that Hitler was fascinated with the occult, but in a totally nihilistic way - he thought he could use the mystical as a weapon without really believing in it or taking the trouble to understand it. So, when he's handed a guidebook to the most important and powerful artifact in the history of mankind... of course he doesn't have a clue.

Let's say the diary is worth 15 million in 1938, that makes it worth $278,278.723.40 in 2021. Hitler's autograph on the diary would likely be worth 1 to 3 million in 1938. Being conservative we can say it would be 1.5 million. That's about $27,827,872.34. Add up these totals and you get $306,106,595.74. It's not exactly billions but still an incredible sum.

Michael Sheard was a very unique character actor of his generation. It's amazing to see the roles he took on such as Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Doctor Who, Grange Hill, Space 1999 and many more. He didn't do much acting in his later years, he spend most of his time attending conventions and meeting fans. It just goes to show he had huge love and respect to those who loved his work. Rest in Peace Michael, a man with so much talent!

Most non-Brits had no idea of how many great British actors were in the "Star Wars" films, often only for a couple of days. Michael Sheard, Ken Colley, Julian Glover, Glyn Baker, John Hollis, Michael Culver, plus a lot of expatriate Canadians and Americans like Angus MacInnes, John Ratzenberger (Cliff Clavin!), and William Hootkins.

So let's just allow our imagination go wild for a bit, and pretend the devil himself rose up from hell and ruled over humanity for a brief period of time before being overthrown nearly a century ago, and at the same time he also happened to give autographs to brainwashed devil fans. Tell me in all honesty, you would still see this thing as part of our history and not for what it really is? It doesn't matter how long ago it happened. Hitler in many ways is still relevant today, not just in 1945. Our world is defined by him, and to me Hitler is still yesterday's news. And be assured, Hitler was a devil, you should have no doubt about that. You don't even know what he was going to do had he won the war...
