Like much of what Spielberg does with Nazism, it's not a subtle point he's making: that Hitler was fascinated with the occult, but in a totally nihilistic way - he thought he could use the mystical as a weapon without really believing in it or taking the trouble to understand it. So, when he's handed a guidebook to the most important and powerful artifact in the history of mankind... of course he doesn't have a clue.

Let's say the diary is worth 15 million in 1938, that makes it worth $278,278.723.40 in 2021. Hitler's autograph on the diary would likely be worth 1 to 3 million in 1938. Being conservative we can say it would be 1.5 million. That's about $27,827,872.34. Add up these totals and you get $306,106,595.74. It's not exactly billions but still an incredible sum.

Red tale ale is as good as any coffee when the gig is up and all you need is a good laugh to prove you're not sincere about all the truth to those who don't believe already.

I'm not saying I'm a Hitler fan, but if anyone had the balls to get Hitler's autograph, its Indiana Jones.

He literally got it by accident, if he wasn't pushed by the crowd he would be gone in seconds

Doesnt matter what you think about Hitler, his autograph is literally worth millions both for the character he was and the time elapsed since it was signed.

There was a woman in Berlin olympics 1936, who had balls to go trought Hitlers bodyguards and kiss him.

I think if I ever found an original autograph from Hitler I would just burn it. I would never like such a thing to be passed around society for monetary value in Hitler's name.

Iason29 That's a piece of history. Why on earth would u burn it?

So let's just allow our imagination go wild for a bit, and pretend the devil himself rose up from hell and ruled over humanity for a brief period of time before being overthrown nearly a century ago, and at the same time he also happened to give autographs to brainwashed devil fans. Tell me in all honesty, you would still see this thing as part of our history and not for what it really is? It doesn't matter how long ago it happened. Hitler in many ways is still relevant today, not just in 1945. Our world is defined by him, and to me Hitler is still yesterday's news. And be assured, Hitler was a devil, you should have no doubt about that. You don't even know what he was going to do had he won the war...
