The atmosphere on this track is way less frightening when you're not on the ride, hearing everyone scream, all the extra noises from the ride, and hearing all the noises the car makes while it's throwing you around. God, I love this ride.

Usually for me it's always been a thing to go to the "Twilight Zone Hollywood Tower of Terror" at night (I know I put the full name of the ride, just wanted to be fancy) But usually my sisters and I would be too tired to go so we would just go home instead :p

There definitely should be an Indiana Jones 5 based on this ride. And I actually have a story I hope the film creates. The story is about tourists are unreportedly lost inside the cursed Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The curse came from a wicked sorcerer, Mara, who creates massive black magic and destruction on anyone who dare to look into his forbidden eye. It’s up to Indiana Jones and his friends, Sallah, Marion, Mutt, Oxly, Jock, Reggie the Snake, and Short Round to rescue the tourists and stop Mara’s curse from happening. Along the way, they meet new people: Abdullah, a fortune teller, Jaslene, a good sorceress and snake charmer, and their pet snake, Angitia. They are siblings and they know the history of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye and Mara’s backstory. In the end, Mara is defeated, the curse is broken for good, the tourists are safe at last, and Reggie and Angitia fall in love.

Honestly.. I didn't think it matter if you looked at the statue in the eyes or not.. the ride will be the same. All the special effects that you saw on TV was just for commercials for the new attraction.

Teebows Tv It does. Kinda dusty like grandma's house, but antique and natural and foresty and ahhh there's so many levels to the smell and idk. I also LOVE the salty sea smell in POTC and the old antique smell in HM.

Idk why I like it because most people would think it smells old and unpleasant (I mean a good percent of the smell is decades old swampy ride water) but still. It just beings good memories and honestly the salty sea smell just reminds me of one of my favorite rides and I just love it.

I remembered when I last went on this ride in 2019 before the pandemic, we were getting off on the loading/exit bay when the ride was over. We were waiting to get off and coming out of the dark area with the Boulder and Indy, a poor little kid (maybe 3-4 years old) was crying and screaming of fright. And I overheard the parents behind our row when it happened saying, "I knew he was not ready for this, honey". And the mother tried calming down her son. In my mind, I was like, "mother knows best"....lol
