I understand the frustration with Chris Ballard, but this is the 6th video this week focusing on Chris Ballard and his shortcomings. Steichen deserves an equal amount of the blame. Steichen hasn't created a culture of accountability or discipline so these issues keep coming up. He hasn't put hi guys in situations of succeed. The locker room right now feels very apathetic and unmotivated. I think that speaks more toward Steichen, who is interacting with all these guys daily, rather than Ballard. Say what you will about Ballard, but he has built a roster with a lot of solid guys, high ceiling guys, and depth. Again, Ballard certainly deserves his share of blame, but i think the blame should fall more 50/50 between Ballard and Steichen.

Can everyone stop with the "AR needs more time" narrative? He already had 2 years, and I haven’t seen any improvement at all. And it's not only the stats-if you look at the film, he looks even worse than the stats suggest. He is playing historically bad. He doesn’t have any fundamentals-no footwork, he can't go through his progressions, and he's stuck on his first read. A lot of times, he's throwing the ball differently from how the wide receiver is running the route (I wonder why). His accuracy is the worst I've seen in an NFL franchise quarterback. Even if you take into account the drops (which are not that many, with the Colts ranking around the middle of the league), he still ranks last in every statistical passing category. On top of that, his pocket awareness is non-existent. His decision-making is questionable at best, He also lacks the ability to make adjustments at the line of scrimmage, which is critical at this level. His mechanics are a mess, and his throwing motion varies so much that it’s impossible to establish consistency. The lack of development is glaring, and it’s not just a coaching issue-he seems incapable of learning from his mistakes. And I ask you now: why give him another year? I mean, it's hard to think they can do worse with another QB.
