Nice to see you "ROLLing" along past Rolls-Royce Indy...on Sam Jones expressway, I worked there 28 years we made the 1107 engine on the Osprey V22 built right there in that plant and many many engines on the Bell Helicopters you pointed out UAW Training center .... the Marines landed a V22 in that parking lot and the entire plant came out to watch. There are gloves available that will allow you to use touch screen. "Itchy Boots" uses them when traveling on her dirt bike on her smart phone GPS Great story. Mine, I walked a girl home from school a lot in the 3rd grade and wrote an "Ilove you' note to her in school and got slapped ! Then she transferred to a catholic school. I recently looked her up and sent a message. Did not hear back for quite awhile but finally got "Wow, talk about a blast from the past " answer. LOLI wrote the note in 1955 ! over 60 years ago ! You can find anyone today in just a few clicks !

Another nice video FSC. So relaxing. I like 65 mph myself. Tha faster you go the more on your game you must be. I can relax at 65 mph. Less wear and tear on the equipment. Love the vids. Brings back memories from when my dad drove. I can sit in that cab for hours. Dad drove a 78 Transtar Eagle, ‘83 9670 and then switched to conventional Volvo and Internationals. Don’t get fuel in PA, we are at $5 and up for diesel.

Everyone likes what he or she likes. When I was a kid, I lived deep in Krispy Kreme country. I loved visiting my grandparents because they had Dunkin' Doughnuts. That was when they made their doughnuts fresh each day. Remember the commercials? "Time to make the doughnuts?" Then they changed to frozen doughnuts shipped in. I still eat Dunkin's doughnuts, but they all taste a day old, like those doughnuts you get at the grocery store. Krispy Kreme does sell pre-made doughnuts to grocery stores, but going to a KK store where they make them and getting them fresh is a much better experience, in my opinion, than Dunkin'.

Duncan Donuts is what I used to eat back in the day but not anymore. In the Chicago area, all too often they're old and cold and if you take them back you get an attitude from behind the counter. Don't put up with that crap. Krispy Cream, on the other hand, are always fresh and more often than not they're hot. I could eat half a dozen at a sitting with a cup of java. A geezer has to know his limit, though, so hold it to two. Your channel takes me back a few years. Thanks.

When Krispy Kreme opened in Appleton years ago that was the best donut around. I’ve stopped in Milwaukee for a Krispy Kreme and it just wasn’t that good. My favorite donut is glazed from Dunkin’.

Dunkin" Donuts - Breakfast of Champions....I remember one dark, cold, rainy night in Florida. I'd been on the road all day. Started out in Arcadia, stopped in Auburndale and was finally getting ready to shut down for the night. I knew I wouldn't make it to Wildwood but knew there was a place on Florida's Turnpike just before it terminates into I-75. I also knew they had a KFC and I was starving. Well, you might guess it, the KFC was "Temporarily Closed for Renovations...Sorry For the Inconvenience". Jesus. Inconvenience doesn't even come close. I ended up having Dunkin' Donuts for dinner because that was the ONLY place that was open at that particular truck stop. Some dinner. Any wonder there's a trucker shortage? Drivers can't even get a decent meal out there anymore. My hat is off to you Steve - Keep on trucking and keep the great vids coming (-:

When you did the video when you where in Hoboken at the Port of Authority of NY & NJ , you where literally where I grew up and learned to drive 18’s , how many times I drove through the Lincoln Tunnel with 12’6” trailers and 45’ , that was back in 1978, no 48 footers not to mention 53’s , no CDL’s just a auto articulate license and drove a 1973 Transtar with a 318 Detroit and no power steering or air conditioning, everyone had a cb and talked English, btw it was a cabover !!

Actually, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is owned by BMW since 2003. Rolls-Royce Holdings plc, which makes aircraft engines and components like that facility you went into in Indianapolis, is a separate company.

One last comment, a good trucker uses his/her phone to get info on deliveries or pick ups before they become a traffic jam, always use your resources, I even called the police department if I couldn’t find a road/business on the map ! I had 2 milk crates of maps in my rig !! Back then we didn’t have cell phones never mind in cab computers, not even pagers where widespread yet !! Boy ! How the world has changed, stay safe y’all !!!

One other comment, back in the1970's Qantas, the airline, wanted Rolls Royce jet engines on their 747's. Sell it seems like Boeing couldn't get over having Rolls Royce on their airplanes. And they were all pride. Well the Aussies have their own sense of humor over this. The engineers and mechanics always referred to the jet engines as "Rollies"!! Like the multiple of rolly.

RR cars are owned and built by BMW. Depending on what I want (fancy or just a plain glazed). I prefer DD or KK.
