11:40 There's much more sigils in HOTD than in GOT (more book accurate with this). We'll be seeing a lot more sigils from the smaller houses. The white lamb on a green field is house Rosby. The black diamonds on gold is house Darklyn. Both houses are close to Kingslanding and are part of the region around KL, known as the crown lands. These houses are loyal to house Targaeryen.

In the book it was clear everyone is gray that can do both good and wrong yet the show feels like they are going with blacks as clear heroes which personally dont really like but it is what it is

Loved the trailer, and a fab breakdown of it! It appears Aemond is talking to Criston; so I wonder if rather than him saying a more personal/familiar "My mother holds love for our enemy", he's saying a formal "Queen Alicent holds love for our enemy". Greens are so magnetic and funny as characters I really can't care about anyone else. Rhaenyra should be called Blandnyra cause man, she really has nothing to do with her book counterpart. Far more fire and interesting imperfections there. They truly transformed a nuanced political conflict into man vs woman and then take the woman's complexities and more darker but interesting traits. Quite sad.

About the trailer i want to give point about alicent .i love alicent but i get tired that the writers keep putting the relationship with rhaenyra. And they victimize her. when it is not so , alicent unconsciously abused aegon psychologically , forced him to marry his sister when aegon didn't like the idea, forced him to take the throne when he didn't want to, she made him sick. Aegon is right to want to avenge his son because his family made him have a horrible life since he was born and because of them he is going to lose his son, just like Helena, who Alicent made her marry Aegon. And now after all she is going to love rhaenyra wtf. I love her but aemond is right we saw how aemond loved his mom in the first season i feel he feels betrayed by his mom and he is right. It doesn't make sense alicent should be in revenge mode for his family, the writers are ruining his character a bit.

First, this isn't ACOTAR, where men are perfect but damaged. This GOT/HOTD, the characters are all walking red flags. Second, I pretend that didn't happen. Because it shouldn't have. Daemon, red flag that he is, would NEVER do that to Rhaenera. One of the screen writers hates him and is determined to make him worse than he is. I don't know how that got past GRRM.

@@asoiafan the man couldn't bring himself to hurt her by taking her virginity and reputation in a brothel. He loved his brother fiercely. He was brokehearted when Queen Aemma died (don't forget she was his and Viserys' cousin). Daemon would do ANYTHING for his family. If you look at his actions as a whole, choking out Rhaenera is VERY out of character. I applaud Matt Smith, he tried to salvage the scene. The look he put on his face afterwards shows regret mixed with the knowledge that he can't take it back, as if he didn't realize what he was doing until it was too late. Matt Smith is amazing in every role lol.
