Please note You are using 980kv motors on 4s with 1045 props, it's surely getting overheated because it can only drive 1045 on 3s for 4s you must have used 9447 props (white color looks nice) to get the maximum out of your motors... As you increase the voltage you need to decrease the prop size for optimal performance because as you increase voltage the current also increase (OHMs law; V = IR) so using 1045 on 4s with heat up the motor and it glue holding the neodimium magnets will melt leading to failure in mid air.
