Oh really, India faced western sanctions in 1998 and 1972. Thwarted an attack from US in 1971 with the help of created ussr. Decided the fate of almost 20 million people and created a new country in Asia. Super powers helplessly watched, went nuclear in 1998. Nothing happened because of sanctions and Indian economy become stronger. Later went to outer space with indigenously developed cryogenic engines.
