Maddy, I am personally interested in two bits of information about lectro, 1) why hero increased the minimum price from 18k to 24k? Has anything changed to justify the huge jump in price? And 2) what is to be done when the battery eventually degrades too much? Need a new frame altogether?

Hello. Hero boycotted chinese parts after Galwan valley encounter. They started getting them from Germany. Thats why the prices increased. And will continue so until they start making them in India by Make in India policy. The battery pack and controller can be removed from the bottom of the frame. The Hero service center will replace it for you.

I travel my office twice a week. My choice is emotorad T rex which may solve my purpose. But the problem is my laptop bag. I'm assuming you're asking maintainance/service/spare wise... Hero has good network PAN India while Felidae is catering in selective cities throughout the country. Both are reliable actually, depending if you have easy access to their store. Toh khareedne k pehele aapne confirm kiya store se agar spares aur battery baadme mil jaayega unke paas, toh it shouldn't be a problem.

I haven't tried Masti Pro. But I've seen their delivery packaging online and it seemed like the bike could get damaged during shipment only. Plus there's no internal cabling and the controller takes up seperate space. I personally find TRex a better option.
