Hello Shona, if you could elaborate on your progressive pregnancy weight gain, if you roughly remember, that will be helpful. I have completed my 1st trimester and have barely gained any weight despite consuming healthy and nutritious meals. The doc seems unhappy and feels I am not doing enough which stresses me out. I have increased my meal portion sizes but the doc asked to increase more. But if I do that I would feel breathless and uncomfortable with all the food and meds/supplements/protein powder. If you can let me know your perspective on this. Thank you.

Congratulations 🎉 I gained weight from 20th week onwards It's normal. Take it easy Eat in small portion but frequently. Take supplements on time. Iron with lemon water , it absorbs better. Lots of water and tender coconut water. Protein , calcium,iron from 2nd trimester onwards. Many women not gain but loose weight in 1st trimester, it's fairly common.
