There are several other videos on GR-55 demonstrating various patches, done by expert guitarists of western music; but they all fail miserably when the the patch selected is sitar. Only you were able to do it most appropriately. Thank you.

Enjoyed this a lot more than the cheesy “ look, it can do a trumpet” demos. I’ve had one for nine years and I’m interested in what it can do with a bit of programming. Synthesiser is a little misleading as it’s really a PCM sample player.

Compliments on your well thought out demo. I played at a blues benefit a couple of months ago with 15 top blues bands from the Detroit area. Of course our band didn't really play blues so we hit them with something different. You should have seen all of the guitar players heads turn when I started out with some sitar licks on the first song. That really got their attention. Thanks for the great video.

Hello Sunny, I own. Gr55 and I used a beat up Fender acoustic and it was horrible... I since then resurfaced the frets and adjusted the truss rod, once I did that, it worked beautifully. The Gr55 is highly sensitive and will respond to fret buzzing and any other off notes due to wear and tear, neglect, or deferred maintenance. It’s a great unit, your guitar however, must be in great working condition. Hope this helps.

GR55 is super except Sitar. Sitar is best in GR33. so i found Guitarist who use both on stage means GR33 only for Sitar.

In my GR 55, PCM tones always mess up disturbing each other. Need to be very careful, because GK-3 is a very sensitive pickup.

Your string articulation has to be precise and clean. It can be difficult to do but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun!! Try turning the attack on some of the PCMs to -50 to get a quicker response and less latency..
