a fun fact: Werner is German and judging by the Union Jack flag in the background, the cat and his owner are British. During WWII, Brits fighting were called Tommies and German fighters were called Jerries. So that makes the cat a TOMmy and the mouse a JERRY. Edit: also I recently watched some of the cartoons and noticed something else: Werner and the cat(Katzenwagen) end up fighting together. In the cartoons, sometimes Tom and Jerry had to work together when another enemy came along.

The double pun of Jerry, as both the nickname for German solders in WW1, and a link to Jerry the mouse, was a smart choice by the devs of the game and I’m really glad that these lyrics picked up on it. This is a amazing lyrical adaptation! (Although I was expecting the cat to have a British accent for the Tom part of the Tom and Jerry rhyme. It would’ve been funny to have a German rat try and force a British accent whilst still singing about German firepower).

My god, this is *easily* your best work yet. I can’t help but get pumped up listening to the chorus, especially when the ghost rats join in. I also freaking LOVE Werner’s voice, it fits him perfectly lol. Considering this is set on indie games and you already did Undertale and Deltarune, I’d be curious if a DDLC or Meatboy song will get lyrical adaptations, since those two are definitely among my favourite indie games of all time. But until then, time to replay this one for the next nein hours.

I know this is probably not the first time you've heard this, but I genuinely think you and your team have what it takes to tackle a full Cuphead the Musical. It's got a lot of usable elements for it like a variety of characters to voice, a lengthy soundtrack and not only have you already managed lyrics for a variety of the songs already, but since Juno and RecD are already doing Dlc songs, less people are likely to request bonuses for it as well (I think). All we need is you guys to be ready and willing to make it happen and I think it could even be almost as great as Undertale the Musical, like Cuphead was with Undertale in terms of video games.
