Outstanding stuff. I was not sure if it'll work out well when I heard of their collaboration. I love CoL and Julie's stuff for years. The idea to work together was interesting, to say the least. The pendulum could swing to both sides... But now the result turned out far better than I expected. Pure awesomeness.

I love Cult of Luna man...I have all of their albums...check out my profile pic...but I must tell you...Julie Christmas is a FUCKIN MONSTER. At first I wasn't a big fan but that definitely changed. She makes this album even better...Johannes and Julie KILLED IT on this album. As most have already stated: Album of the fuckin year. p.s. I really hope they record a live DVD of this album in it's entirety. it's THAT good man.

yeah there are always some people that don't like significant changes like this. And they also have a right to leave a comment with their opinion. and my opinion is that female vocals mostly don't fit in doom/post metal songs. I'm very open minded for some experiments and new ideas but this was definitely not the best idea they had so far. I hope they make their next record with the usual line-up.
