Her vocals are so incredible. She can sound like an absolutely insane maniac person, but if you listen closely, there's this impression that she is aware and in control of each and every distortion in her voice. Really great concert!

replying to this just to let you know she just released a solo album with Johannes doing guitars and occasional vocals. I saw that Thomas was on drums as well but I also saw that it was a different drummer as well (though to me it sounds so much like Thomas's drumming style). hope it scratches the itch for you!

Initially, I didn’t like this album, it was the only CoL album I didn’t enjoy. But after watching this performance, specifically at the same moment when she first sings of the Wreck of S.S. Needle, it suddenly became this incredibly special album to me, from start to finish. Strange how that happens, huh?

I think my initial failure was that I bounced off of her voice without looking into the larger themes and artistic direction of the album and seeing the energy live like this made it all make sense to me when I wasn't willing to have an open mind before.

Yuh that's such sick album and collaboration! It should have made a way bigger impact on modern metal scene. In the last couple of years many speak of Courtney La Plante from Spiritbox but I'd give it to Julie any day of the week as a way more diverse, unique and interesting vocalist. La Plante sounds very bland to my ear.

52:03 Is the BOLLOX! 'Epic' doesn't begin to describe how powerful this is! I recommend playing from a few minutes before the time stamp to appreciate the musical and emotional context. Hell, just play from the beginning of Cygnus. Just play the whole concert for that matter.
