Nomads in general are tall(er) due to diet. Most nomads diet consists of dairy (proteins), nuts (also protein), sorghum and millet. Meat is eaten but on very rare occasion. Nothing to do with Wodaabe Fulani mixing...Fulani in all countries are taller than most other ethnic groups.

It's interesting how different their features are to for example typical West Africans. They are so tall, have sharp noses and very slim. Not to mention their attire and their culture and language. It just shows you how diverse the African continent is. It's easy to overlook when you live in Europe. I had never even heard of Wodabe (forgive the spelling) before today.

you are talking about particular ethnic groups in Somalia and Uganda that may be short due to region and diet. In the Sahel of West Africa, Fulani (my group) are amongst the tallest. Many people are over 6 feet (185 cm) tall. Also the tallest people in the world are African (Tutsis) but the shortest people in the world are also African (Pygmies)

@pidza21 that is because Wodaabe are Fulani and speak the Fulani language (Fulfulde), there are different types of slavic people and they do not speak the same language. Example: Russians, Polish and Serbians are all Slavic but do not speak the same language. We Fulani are West African if you wanted to come up for a similar term to Slavic, then we are Sudanic like Wolof, Yoruba, Hausa, Zarma, Songhai, etc.
