Why is this surprising to people? Iran is a solid country especially amongst the people. No country is perfect but it's definitely safe. Persian culture is one of the most important and influential in the history of civilization. You don't have to be Iranian to admit that. Iran is the oldest country in the world, with a massively intelligent population, and personally, I have heard the NORTH of Iran is the most beautiful part.

There are many reasons for these views. First, Iran borders countries that are in wars and have unstable governments (Iraq and Afgahnistan). This gives the impression Iran will be like the two countries mentioned, even though its not the case. Second, the government (US government) along with the media paints Iran as a terrorist country!!! This is sad because I haven't many terrorists come from that country.

As an Iranian living outside of Iran for over 40 years since I was a kid I wait until the regime changes and then I travel only to Iran. For now I just enjoy watching brave travelers vlog. Thanks and stay safe!

Hey Nick keep up the good work. The reason I like about your blog is that you don't temper the facts. Apart from that you respect the culture of the place you visit. The world is unique and let it be that way.

@@IndigoTraveller Right now i live far from my country so i really enjoyed your videos and they made alive a lot of my memories. I do not know what cities you have plan to go for the next trip, but Do not forget province of Gilan and Rasht city and the city of Ardebil and the city of Tabriz. In Tabriz you will meet truly welcomed people. You missed almost all the famous and great foods of Iran, Never forget the foods. Thank you for your reply by the way.

I hope Iran gets back on track with their currency, and the bullying sanctions stop ASAP!
@WanderlustAweSyndrome5 жыл бұрын
As an American, I don't think my government will ever lift sanctions off the country. My country allies its self with Saudi Arabia, which doesn't like Iran for many reasons such as religion (one country is Shiite faith while the other is Sunni faith).
@Unclejamsarmy5 жыл бұрын
Wanderlust Awe Syndrome despite the fact that Saudi Arabia funds isis, and funded the 9/11 attacks. Whenever I hear someone pretend as if it’s even slightly legitimate to complain about Iran or join the military to “fight for our freedom” I vomit and consider suicide. This is an Orwellian ass country. It’s insane.
@OGYouTubeEnjoyer4 жыл бұрын
Well if Iran wants sanctions to end they should probably think about ending their nuclear programs and to relieve their tensions with Israel.
@steveboy73024 жыл бұрын
@@OGKZbinEnjoyer then every country should give up there nuclear weapons
@OGYouTubeEnjoyer4 жыл бұрын
@@steveboy7302 That would be pretty stupid. Nuclear weapons stop tyrannical governments like Iran from doing much more than throw stones.

@@IndigoTraveller not that hard, but a bit more to think about than if you went somewhere like Thailand or the US. I'm considering couch surfing as a great way to meet locals and live a bit cheaper so I can stay longer
