Jaja Yayaya, thank you for your response, this is about the Indo Dutch Culture from the time when it was still the Dutch East Indies before the Indonesian Republic was founded, our first generation Indo Dutch elderly who were born and raised in the Dutch East Indies is about to extinct and that's why it's so important to keep out Indo Dutch heritage alive and pass it over to our younger generation 😊

No, we still have traditional wedding and also traditional dances as school subjects. I think, Indonesians has abandoned and erased Dutch language from schools, while there some people won't forget their Indonesian background (DEI-Background).

My Indonesian great grandmother spoke fluent Dutch because she was taught it in the colonial era however she passed away in 2015. My Oma’s uncle however is from Indonesia but moved to the Netherlands in the 1960s. He speaks fluent Dutch and married a Dutch women. Hopefully I can visit him however he’s in Eindhoven and I’m in Phoenix Arizona lol.
