I grew up with Indo food 6 days a week. I made a lot of Lumpias in my life but never like this. Looks interesting and worth trying. My mother and father were born in Indonesia. My mother and Auntie had an Indonesian restaurant I worked in. Thank you for this video.

You're such a gourmet cook. You turned ordinary street food into a gourmet meal. These lumpias are crispy outside and juicy inside. They're perfect.

Hi now you've made me cry, this was my dads favorite and his recipe is with him. I didn't have him write it down before he past..You and him would of had a ball cooking he grew up in Indonesia Java. His cooking.Was just AMAZING Just like what you do.. My biggest regret is not filming his cooking then I would still have him.with me

That sure is regrettable, i hope you kept the rest of your fathers recipes. As he grew up in Indonesia he probably knew more about Indonesian cooking than i do.

Wow that lumpia looks like a GIANT egg roll. I didn't know they made wrappers like that from wheat but it looks great!

It's more adapted to Dutch consumers since the colonisation of Indonesia centuries ago! My family loves them, 20 lumpia's gone in less then two days! Have a nice weekend Eric!😃

Its same to lumpiang toge in the Philippines lot of vege in lumpiang shanghai are lot of beef or pork😂😂

Just found your channel, an absolute treacher of information! Love the big variety of recipes and done authentically. I'd guess from the amount of moisture escaping the chicken, you're based in the NLD :) I was so weirded out when I fried chicken abroad for the first time.

In Arab grocery stores you can find brick sheets, but you can also use large rice sheets from Asian stores! fillo dough is another option! Hope this is of any help!😃

hallo ! erst dachte ich, Du wärst Deutscher (wegen dem Dialekt und weil nur 'wir' den Plural apostrophieren :-) [ → Katastrophe !] Aber Holländisch ist so sehr verwandt mit Deutsch, ich kann Einiges verstehen, aber es selbst nicht sprechen. Gut, was ich sagen wollte: mein Kompliment an Dich ! Du hast den Rock n' Roll im Blut und ich . . . ich habe Frühlingsrollen-Rezepte aus über 10 Ländern hier und DU bist der erste, der den Kochwein (Shao Xing) benutzt. Das erspart viel Würzerei, Du alter Fuchs ! Und nur EIN anderer macht Shiitake rein . . . (war ein Japaner, glaube ich) Auch kenne ich niemanden, der anstatt Lauchzwiebeln (green onions) Porree (leek) benutzt. Das Zeug ist sehr widerstandsfähig und braucht lange, um "genießbar weich" zu werden. Ergo: Deine Rollen werden definitiv als nächste hier gemacht werden. Weiter so und bleib gesund in diesen von Paranoia geprägten Zeiten !
