Haloo uni ☺ Saya izin juga berbagi pengalaman test DNA pakai 23andme. Kebetulan orang tua asli Minangkabau, tapi saya lahir dan besar di bandung. Di sekolah sering dikira pakai softlens haha. Ini hasilnya A. East Asian & Native American - Indonesian, Thai, Khmer & Myanma (43,2%) - Filipino & Austronesian (33,5%) - Broadly Chinese (0.6%) B. Central & South Asian - Southern South Asian (9.7%) - Central Asian, Northern Indian & Pakistani (5.2%) C. Westhern Asian & North African - West Asian (2,9%) - Arab, Egyptian & Levantine (1.6%) D. Austronesian languages are like Aboriginal Taiwanese, Javanese, Menadonese, Balinese, Samoanese, Tognaese, Hawaiian, Maori, Malay, Batak, Sarawakese, Sabahans, etc. Basically maritime (islands) South EastAsia as well as Polynesia are Austronesian speaking. But the people's appearance of west Indonesia including Javanese is more Austroasiatic (means languages that sound like Thai/ Cambodian/Burmese/Laos/Vietnam) as in they look more like mainland South EastAsians (Austroasiatic) rather than Austronesians original speakers such as Aboriginal Taiwanese, the Philippines, north East Borneo (north east Kalimantan), Sulawesi, Eastern Indonesia in general, and Polynesia such as Samoans, Maori, etc. I think Austronesian original speaking people have more Melanesian intermix in them than Austroasiatic original speakers. Original Austroasiatic speaking people might instead have south Indian intermix in them. I just note by watching videos and images of Austronesians, Samoans look similar to East Indonesians because Samoans are in theory largely a mix of East Asian Austronesian speaking people with Australoid (sometimes also known as Melanesian). Samoans are like in general 80% East Asian (Austronesian) and 20% Melanesian (Australoid). Because Australoid people look similar to African Negroid people, Samoans can look like 80% Mongoloid and 20% Negroid (although it's not Negroid but Australoid but you get the idea of how they look like). So some of them can have natural curly hair, dark skin to light skin, all kind of eye shapes, Mongoloid face, Melanesian face, etc. Javanese and most of west Indonesians look Mongoloid with skin tones ranging from dark to light although if they are full indigenous they should be dark skinned because their ancestors came there circa 5 kya (kilo years ago). If they're light skin, they maybe recent migrants or mixed with migrants. Indigenous people from Borneo (the Malaysia parts of Kalimantan and Brunei) look Mongoloid, too in general. Indigenous Malays from mainland Malaysia look diverse as in some of them look pure Mongoloid but some of them have intermixed with south Indians (Tamils). There are also west Indonesians and mainland Malays that have Arab in them (Yemen). West Indonesians in general are about 98% Mongoloid (Austroasiatic) with some of them have tiny percentage of Tamil and Arab. East Indonesians also have 90%+ Mongoloid (Austronesian) with some Melanesian in them like the Filipinos. This is why indigenous West Indonesians look similar to indigenous Thai, Cambodians, Burmese, Laos, Vietnamese, and Malays from mainland Malaysia.

Well one thing to make clear is that Austronesians mixed with Melanesians later. So they aren't exactly the "pure Austronesian." And to be fair most of us aren't. The purest they can find is just on Taiwan and Philippines. The rest started diverging as they mixed with papuans and western Indonesians. Aka Austroasiatic at that time! So most of us are actually genetically close and related to each other in terms of ASEAN, specifically mainland and west Indonesians. And of course a lot of us mixed with Indians due to the spread of their religion, cultures, food and customs. Not to mention, SUNDALAND. Which was connected before and definitely had more ties to the migration of Austroasiatics! (Old Cham, Khmer, Mon Khmer, etc!) Austronesians not that much long after. Well said! I wish everyone can see this comment.

@@galliard4409 indeed. Melanesians are more to the south. So when Austronesians started expanding and migrating south of the Philippines and Sulawesi and moved toward Papua, that's where you get the POLYNESIAN element. And phenotype.

wow..I am happy this first I saw Indonesians using 23andme ... you have complex DNA like a mixture of several ethnic groups in Indonesia, there are Javanese, Minahasa ( North Sulawesi ) , Minang, Sundanese and Molucan ... look at the composition of Indonesian DNA, including one race with Thais, Laos, myammar , Cambodia and Filipina and Austronesian and the DNA you get from Filipino & Austonesian is 15% probably from Minahasa (North Sulawesi) and Moluccan If you get Javanese or Sundanese in your composition of the DNA is definitely mostly "Indonesian, Myamnar, Thai, Cambodian, Laotian" yeah Indonesia is a mixed race that we have such as Austroasiatic, Austronesian, Chinese and etc.

Yes! And especially Javanese Sundanese and Balinese and any west Indonesians are mixed Austro asiatic. Same with Cham. And then mixed with Austronesian and now speak Austronesian languages. Javanese were language shifters according to some people.

Itu yang persentase 0 koma sekian probably back to your 7/8th great grandparents. approximately 200-300 tahun yang lalu.. kalau diasumsikan satu generasi 25 tahun dan dapat dna 50% dari ortu, 25% dari kakek nenek, 12,5% dari buyut dst. thanks for sharing btw

🙏g bisa jg dihitung dengan cara begitu. Nol koma persen itu blm tentu berasal dari 200-300 th lalu. Cek youtuber hansol dia 0 koma % nya adalah neanderthal yg sdh punah puluhan-belasan ribu tahun lalu, malah ada org yg neanderthalnya 3%. Lah kok bisa? Gen itu terdiri dari 23 kromosom yg membentuk kode2 yg akan diturunkan. Gen resesif tidak muncul kl bertemu dgn gen dominan. Sewaktu2 gen resesif itu bisa muncul dan menjadi dominan jika gen kedua orang tua resesif.

Hampir semua orang selain orang Afrika punya gen neanderthal dan denisovan. Orang afrika yang tidak punya gen neanderthal sama sekali itu karena seluruh populasi leluhurnya tidak bertemu dan bereproduksi dengan neanderthal

Tbh aku sempat bingung dengan silsilah keluargaku. Aku sempat cari dan bertanya ke ortu tentang siapa kakek buyut, karena aku sempat skeptis. My mother's nose is so sharp, likes an Indian or Middle East. When she was young, she's too beautiful, even if I was lived in that era, I think I will crush on her too :D And surprisingly, she's told me that our great-grandfather has an Arabic blood. That's what I just realized that me and my sisters have sharp nose too, tough not as sharp as mother. I also asked her that did great-grandfather/mother have Dutch descent? She didn't know. But, I'm still curious about ancestry. I think this is very important to reveal and love our identity. :)

0.3% I Think it's just A Trace Result indicates that you have a very small amount of shared DNA in common with the corresponding reference population. Please note that smaller DNA segments are more likely to be misattributed

Heyy thanks so much for the kind comment! I would definitely recommend that you try one of these test kits. It's best to wait until they have some sort of promotion or discount! Usually before New Year, around Black Friday or even Mother's Day... At least that's what I did last time! Let me know if you ever get your hands on it.

Interesting you got 18.1% european from dutch. You are the first indonesian I've seen who score 18% european which is higher than other indonesian I've seen, other indonesian dna result I see got 1 to 5% european in their dna result. It proves that you have one dutch ancestor. It's surprising that some people from southeast asia have a mixture of some european dna.

@@MishaJohanna that's why you got dutch dna because your mom are half dutch. Its also a case for some people, sometimes they don't inherit so much the genes of their mixed parents. Many people also in southeast asia have european dna but only they got a little bit of it. It's the case of some filipinos also who have spanish ancestry they got a little spanish because the filipino side was stronger. Probably the highest filipino I've seen who got european on 23andme dna score 42%, other got small amount because it become diluted and they didn't really got the dna of their european ancestor.

Interesting, ortu ku dua-duanya orang sunda, aku dulu pernah tes pake myheritage di Aussi, dan hasilnya aku malah 44% Indo/malay/filipino, kagetnya aku ada westerneurope 27% quite a loot indeed, kemungkinan emang dari bokapku anchestornya dutch gede, sisanya ada slavic, scandinavian, finnish, mesoamerican, cambodian, ada native american juga etc. ternyata aku mix nya banyak banget kek kopi 😂

How could it be because of Majapahit? Majapahit was a Javanese empire and had nothing to do with South Indians. However, there are records of South Indian presence in Sumatra through trade, so perhaps this is where the Malayali genetic likely came from.

Bagi WNI "pribumi" yg Indonesia bagian Barat (Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Madura, Bali) bisa dipastikan mayoritas DNA nya Asia (Austroasiatic) dan (Austronesia) & campuran dari keduanya, sisanya ada kandungan DNA Homosapiens, Denisovan, Neanderthal, klo "pribumi' Papua mayoritas DNA nya Homosapiens, sementara NTT, Maluku ada yang yang campuran (Austronesian & Papuan) atau masih murni Papuan. klo ada campuran Bule, Timur Tengah, Asia Selatan, ya percampuran belakangan era sejarah/pra kolonial Eropa s/d era kolonial.

Ah yes, I forgot to include the details for this when filming the video :D So it says: "Hey Misha! You have more Neanderthal DNA than 97% of other customers. You inherited a small amount of DNA from your Neanderthal ancestors. Out of the 7,462 variants we tested, we found 311 variants in your DNA that trace back to the Neanderthals. All together, your Neanderthal ancestry accounts for less than ~2 percent of your DNA. You have Neanderthal DNA that may influence your traits..." ...dan kemudian ada detail tentang prediksi traits-nya. Nothing at all about Denisovan, though.

Aku sendiri pernah kirim kit-nya 23andMe ke nyokap di Jogja, dia kirim balik ke aku (di Lithuania) pakai Pos Indonesia, kena sekitar 500rb dan ternyata pas paketnya sampai di sini, diantarnya sama DHL. Jadi sepertinya ada opsi kerjasama antar Pos Indonesia & DHL. Tapi kalau bisa yang dapat under 100rb itu ya lebih baik lagi!

I have a “likely match” from East Java. Could you give some insight into that? Were Javanese people sent to China or Vietnam as slaves or did Chinese sailors bring back Indonesian wives in the past?

Nusantara could apply to everyone that was there before the migration of Tai speaking peoples and Viet more or less so. Funan was basically a mix as well. With Khmer, Malay, Cham, Mon and most likely Javanese.

Yes, native american are asians but they are different from the ancestors of indonesia. There are no theory and study that indonesia have native american admixture. Better study first before saying with false information. I don't think indonesia have native american admixture since indonesia don't have contact with indonesians, I only believe indonesia have some admixture of Indian, some arabs and a very tiny european admixture on indonesian dna. She is indonesian citizen but her place are sulawesi, and people from sulawesi are similar to the philippines.
