This is about the best analogy of indoor short track racing I have ever heard. When I raced flat track in the 70’s indoor short track was getting started good and as I remember it… yeah a fist fight in a phone booth. Come to think about it most of the ones I road in was more like a gang fight. lol aw the good ol days lol

I mean Trent fella ought to thank the dalton dude. Thanks to him he had no competition for the lead. It looked to me (someone who has never raced dirt bikes) like he was swinging wide so he could intentionally wreck you. I feel like it meant more to him that he beat you rather than actually winning.

I’ve raced motocross almost my whole life and I was one of the “nice guys” and didn’t ride aggressively until people started doing it and basically cheating as in knocking you down just to get in front of you so you kinda learn to be aggressive back pretty quickly to show what’s up and that it isn’t right 😂

Frikken Dalton was relentless! I woulda done everything possible to loop him out. Shorttrack is the best! Especially with top guys racing. It is a damned shame AFT has dumped real shorttrack, some of the best Nationals have been on shorttracks throughout Flattracks history. Its all action all the time! Indian should be building a 450. Triumph will build a 450. Ducati has built a 450. Beta/Kove/etc. Of course Indian and Harley care more about cruisers.
