Last night I was watching a September 2019 formerly streamed video. You stressed the importance of counting your stitches. Today, this great video ! While watching this I figured out what’s going on with my “Doll” from one of your older videos. Her head looked too big. (?) so I went back to her unfinished head and counted. Oops, her head was supposed to go to 16 or 18, not 24....32 before the decrease!! Guess I’ll make a ball now and a small doll later.....count Chris, count !

I have a silly question. Can you increase this a few more rows to make it a bit bigger? Like can I go 2,1,1,1,2 and then 2,1,1,1,1,2 etc. then would I increase my single chain rows? Would decreasing just work the same ? Single 2 together, 1 single, single 2 together each round to close? Or am I best leaving this alone? Lol
@JaydaInStitches3 жыл бұрын
Hi Maurie! You got it 😊 You might want to add a few more rows of the straight sc before you start decreasing just to even out the sizing, but yes, that's it!

@JaydaInStitches Жыл бұрын
Hi! It all depends on how it looks, you might need 1 extra row of regular, possibly 2, but you'll have a better idea when you get to that point...try stuffing it too (you can take the stuffing back out while you work decrease rows if you need to) to get an idea of how it will look when finished 😊

Hi jayda. I have attempted to make this ball 3 times and although I think I am doing everything right I am obviously not as when I get to round 5 I have 34 stitches. The start of my ball to the end of my ball does not look the same.
@JaydaInStitches4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sandra, it sounds like you might have added a couple of extra stitches somewhere, but a different of 2 sts isn't too big a deal :) Once you being the decrease rows, you might want to work an extra decrease stitch in each of the first two decreasing rows just to get the stitch count back down again. Then, it's just a matter of stuffing it into a ball shape :)
