Jeff, superb, as always. Note to other would-be teachers who use video to teach. This video is the gold standard by which all others should be measured. I am not referring to Jeff's content, which is always spectacular. I refer instead to Jeff's decision to reduce fluff to zero. In the past two years, I've watched an insane amount of these types of educational videos. There is about one-handful, and not many more, of people producing education at this level. The two Luke's are in the same class. The two Canadians...I'm sure there are a few more...not many...too few. If you pay attention to this video, Jeff mercifully abandons high-speed scrubbing. Note that Jeff shows the beginning, (sometimes middle), and end of a process. No need to waste time, or abuse his viewers with anxiety-inducing artificially frenetic motion. So too, Jeff doesn't need to use precious screen real estate showing us is no doubt handsome face and sculpted body. He reserves that for the beach and gives us only what we came for....learning. So too, Jeff chooses to not chatter...to not fill space with um's ahs, and "Now I'm gonna...." He takes the time to add text, when necessary and assumes only a basic level of modeling knowledge. In this specific video, there is one short section where I wanted a little bit more text. That is easily handled by asking Jeff. Everybody I know gives vigorous assent to the motto "less is more." Jeff embodies it in his teaching. Ken Florian

Man they amount of time and work you put into your builds has to be astronomical.. but your finished product is unrivaled. Is this just a hobby or is there more to it? Just wondering.. like if it’s paid or museum type piece or whatever..

Why did they put the colored glass into warehouse and factory building windows? It seems like too that they were used as replacements for broken panels as well instead of replacing them with clear glass. I've always been curious but never asked. This turned out awesome and I'm probably going to do some of my HO scale building window panels this way.

Hey William! Thank You!..I tried to look that up while working on this project..couldn't come up with a 100% firm answer..some people say it was because clear glass without tons of imperfections is expensive so they tinted it to hide them.....another answer was they were tinted to keep out the sunlight/heat....finally I found people saying it was the sand used in the manufacturing process had a bunch of impurities like metals which turned the glass green/blue/yellow...one thing for sure is it Awesome looking whatever caused it..let me know how it works out for you...Thanks again!!
