I love the app, but I have a feeling sometimes, for example this, you could have made in Blender in under 1 minute and then its even a proper 3d object that you could immediately 3d print etc

I'm not sure I understand what the advantage of this software is. You could've created that exact same design in CAD, in the same amount of time, and you would have actual solids to work with at the end of the design process. Am I missing something here?

I've been wondering the same thing... but I'm coming round to the view it's a nice way to do the concepting/ideation stage of thinking through a design before you commit to a design. I'm thinking of it as 3d sketching. It's still arguable it's quicker to sketch in 2d... but the advantage I see of 3d sketching is you can manipulate and 'look' at a sketch from different angles to create a design as you sketch it - something you have to do on your head with 2d sketching. Worth a try imo, though I am put off by time required to climb another software learning curve...

@@neurojitsufeather is more for 3D art, easy to understand and navigate, not really for professional tasks

@@crafty1818 agree, that's what I originally was looking for - but there are a lot of us who are hobbyists and makers who could also use feather for a different sort of creative play...
