I would venture to say the MOST bar heavy. The old school rappers like Biggie had lots of bars but they were mostly smooth and just kinda slid in. Em beats you over the frickin' brain with his bars because literally every bar has 2, 3 sometimes quadruple and quintuple meanings.

I'm sure somebody mentioned it already. The day that's dropped was on Billie eilish's birthday. The way I took it was he was saying happy birthday to her. Wild Irish. Because she's Irish and I think sitting in silence and candlelit environments also makes reference to one of our music videos. Another funny thing too is in the music video they show him as the babadook. From that horror movie. She mentioned in a interview that when she was younger Eminem gave her nightmares. And she also stated the babadook was her favorite scary movie. And when he says which is childish. I know in the interview Billie eilish said she liked childish Gambino more than Eminem. Let’s be honest, how many rappers could do anything at all with this beat (sampled from what was originally an 1872 piano composition “Marche Funebre D’Une Marionnette”/“Funeral March of a Marrionette” before being used by Hitchcock)? And Em turned it into one of his top five most bar heavy songs of his career. He can then turn around and rap over various rock samples spanning from the 1950’s onward (can’t wait for “The King and I” 🙌), then rap over insanely beautiful piano/orchestral arrangements, in addition to all of the more traditional hip-hop beats.

Yup,it's a trend i feel Joe started it,the moment he trashed Revival.Took everyone by surprise,considering he was in the team Shady back then. And ofcourse Vlad and Charlame(u know who) added to it and carried out the trend of hating Em.I still see ppl saying on twitter "he hasn't made a good song since 2003"showing me they probably only listen to radio hits.These last 3 albums are in my top 5 Em albums,i love the beats,the cadence,the lyrics etc🤷‍♀️

@@nicolekali332 I know where you’re coming from. I mean, Em first came onto the scene when I was a freshman in high school, and I loved him then. Those first three albums have major nostalgia value. But honestly, there are only a handful of songs from each of those albums that I listen to over and over again. All of his albums from Relapse on are on a whole new skill level when it comes to consistency of lyricism/wordplay, rhyme schemes, unusual flows and flow switches, etc. If someone wants to argue about the beat selection on a couple of tracks (or the accents if we’re talking Relapse)…okay. But to say he hasn’t had a good song since 2003 is just asinine. 🤦‍♀️

I heard that Em finally fully released “Stimulate“ (probably on “new” deluxe edition) which explains why I couldn’t find it and no one knew it who didn’t remember getting the shady Records sampler CD free inside the 8 Mile Sdtrk with Stimulate on it plus 50 (before GRODT) freestyling over ‘Till I Collapse beat and a couple others but Stimulate stood out for the multi syllable rhyme schemes, he would drag out while incorporating large multi syllable words that tied it together while bouncing in and out of pockets and using his carnage/delivery to highlight words but keeping the flow so smooth the whole time.

Reactions are literally what keep me here (purely a consumer, not a creator) these bring exposure to both the original artists and KZbin itself. I was pre-law in undergrad, I KNOW COPYRIGHTS ARE IMPORTANT; but reactions should be regulated as their own medium at this point. 10 years ago, this Dec I lost my first channel, I used to do tech videos and game play videos before streaming was a thing we would make montage vids with music, then they changed the rules and TOS stuff, I got 3 strikes and lost my channel, hundreds of videos gone, I appealed it but no dice. I never had external drives back then, now I have 3 with 6tb of external storage for videos and I don't even make youtube vids no more lol invest in a 2tb external drive and start saving vids. you can even pull up the unedited videos for future videos if you want to insert an old clip to a future video
