Industry 9 just flat out makes good quality parts, and good bling for your bike I like the many color options you get w/ their products! Solid stuff💪, price not an issue.

has it improved steering precision, small bump compliance, mid stroke support, improved grip at the limits of traction, or confidence and control in the rough stuff?

What length did you have before this one and how do you like the 32mm? My stock stem is around 42mm on a Kona process 153 29r. I’m looking to get the i9 to match my new hubs. I’m wondering what I would give up if anything by going to t a 32mm. I know that I will likely gain better handling on the fun part. Thanks!

Hi John, I had a 40mm stem on before, the 32mm gives quicker handling which I perfer but it will affect your pedaling position as it will shift your weight back on the bike making climbs slightly harder but it shouldn't be an issue on the Kona as from what I can see it has a long reach.

Hey Jed, i notice 1 other video you reviewed the race face turbine r.. can you compare this i9 stem, pros cons etc..? Stuck between the two.
@jedmtb3 жыл бұрын
Turbine, slightly easier to install, cheaper. A35, 2 rise options, bolts are slightly more durable. Both look and function well so I’d pick whichever one looks best to you.

@@jedmtb cheers, yeah thinking turbine but cant get the colour i want.. just have to be patient i suppose. Thanks for the reply, enjoying your content. 👍

how is the orange compared to hope’s orange? is it a close match?
@jedmtb Жыл бұрын
The I9 is a more vivid colour, it makes the hope stuff look a bit washed out when next to it.

What size are your envy bars? And does that set up with that size stem and that size bar does it feel good responsive
@jedmtb3 жыл бұрын
They're 800mm and they feel very responsive.

is the stem worth the money ??? (I've been debating on getting it for a while) I know they're product is great I have they're hubs.
@jedmtb2 жыл бұрын
That depends on how much you appreciate aesthetics, I personally really like the way it looks and the fact the bolts don’t round off after a few uses unlike some other stems I have.

Did change back to the 51 mm offset CSU?
@jedmtb5 жыл бұрын
Just temporarily as I had my 44mm CSU replaced as it was creaking.

Nice video and nice stem, but Its so overpriced, I understand that their hubs are super cool and they actually worth the money but there is nothing special about that stem...

Made is USA, handmade, domestically sourced, and very high quality, plenty of reasons for the price.

Why are these high end stems always have a rise to them. My bike came with a 0 degree stem and I don’t want to mess with the geometry to much with my bike
@MaQuGo1193 жыл бұрын
Wish they made their parts in chin/Taiwan, they're expensive as Hell LMAO
@jedmtb3 жыл бұрын
Yep, they are spendy.
@silas54833 жыл бұрын
I’d rather they cost more and be made in US, just a vibe thing.
