Mechanical is a much better choice. You should always pick the most broad engineering field you’re interested in. Just opens WAY more doors. If you have a Motorsports engineering degree from Purdue, and you can’t find a job in the industry. Good luck getting Boeing to hire you or any other company looking for a mechanical engineer.
