@ThroughNickysLens Pls I need a little clarification. How did you upload your nomination certificate when you were applying? I can't find any section to upload mine. Lastly, in the travel history: I have only lived in my home country and Canada in the last 10 years, so I guess my trip history section will be "No". Since I have not taken any trips outside my country of origin or residence (Canada) in 10 years ? Thank you.

@@ijeomar.akaraiwe1018 Hello Ijeomar, Thank you for your questions. You are correct, it is not mandatory to upload your nomination certificate for EE. I know that the applying for PR using the Non-EE PR Portal you must submit the nomination certificate. For EE, you must indicate the number on your nomination certificate in your application for PR and that should be fine. In the EE profile, since you would have already accepted the nomination from the province in your Express Entry profile that should be enough. If you want to upload your nomination certificate though, you may upload it in the optional Client Information section or if you already have something there, upload the certificate with your proof of work experience for your current job. Regarding the travel history section, if you do not have any history outside of coming to Canada then you would answer the question accordingly as “did not travel”. As noted on the IRCC website "List all trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday, if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. If you did not travel outside your country during this period, select “did not travel”." You are so right my dear. On the flip side, changes in circumstances can also boost someone's profile and the likelihood to get an IT'A. Two things that come to mind in this regard are a valid job offer such as an LMIA that makes a person eligible for adding points and even an upward change in language scores, even gaining proficiency in another language. So for sure, ensuring that the Express Entry profile is up to date is quite important and can surely prevent the unwanted from having a profile becoming ineligible.

Hi Nicky. When you were applying for your PR, did you have to get a police clearance certificate for canada since you applied from within Canada? I'm asking to know if i need to get one for my application since I am still canada. Thank you.

Hi Ijeomar, Thanks for your question 😊 From my experience and what I know with others, once you are in Canada and applying for PR you don't need to submit a police clearance certificate from Canada as I assume any background/ criminal related checks they will need to do they have their systems and ways of checking since it's within Canada. For any other country as you know though, in the last 10 years that you have been for 6 months or more at any one time you will need to submit a police clearance certificate from there.
