This is so true, the old one's don't want to move aside and give the young one's a chance. The old one's want to stay in control after years of being in position. I am in my 60's and I have seen it all my life. Dr Anderson said they would replace Black people with other groups. They are making us 3rd and 4th class.

Well said 👏🏾👏🏾 Dr. Umar speaks to my heart and mind as a lost African and I appreciate him. I don’t scold him for how long the school is taking to open because with it being bought with only black dollars, I could see it taking awhile plus dealing with set backs from the power structure of not wanting the school to reach fruition so it blocks whats needed to get it going… My gripe with Dr. Umar was Sukihana… I didn’t understand why he would appear with her and defend her after she twerked half naked on that child; very few blogs/podcasts talked about it, it happened right in our face. I didn’t understand why she wouldn’t repent and apologize publicly…, she showed no remorse for assaulting and not protecting that boy child but recently I heard The Smart Guy SMART say that he doesn’t blame Pinnochio for what he does but blames Geppetto for pulling the strings and allowing it so my heart is softening towards her a bit because She may have also been touched as a child and think it’s normal… Prayerfully, Dr. Umar was able to counsel her on the matter and help her see why what she did was wrong. Celebrities like Sam Cooke are needed and appreciated because they actually help the movement positively but in 2025, is it okay to hold the celebs to a high standard of self respect and righteousness for The Most High; their moral codes need strengthening. Can we effectively bring back shaming and tell “Geppetto” that assaulting children , men and women or being walked like a dog or being overly sexually in public is unacceptable and that whoever releases the content will be held responsible for what happened to that child:/people as they help the camera…That’s shouldn’t be apart of the art of entertainment and it shouldn’t be rewarded. Are the Pinnochio’s of the industry under a spell or hex?
That Special education session really brings clarity to me I was put in inclusion classes in 4th grade I was told I have a learning disability. Never onece thought of being slow or having low self esteem but I could see where telling a child that they have disability or learn different could have an impact on how a child develops academically

I also agree that the older generation needs to give up the ghost. I am 61 and my focus is what can be my legacy to my people. What can I leave the younger generation. When I lived in VA young people (black and white) were telling me that they were waiting for the elders to die so they could get done what needs to be done for the future. I was shocked and saddened by this, but it made me determined to rethink everything. It is not easy to live in opposition to the status quo politically, emotionally, spiritually. My question though is what are we going to do to grow and thrive our black communities? How are we going to function in a nation that is trying to exterminate us, erase us and hour history? How are we going to move forward, even if that means leaving this country and to where would we go? I dream of Africa and will visit there next year and investigate it all. If we stay where is the organization? I think the answers are right here with the folks that follow this....

You can pass down and or train the youth. The problem is the youth want instant gratification. That’s one of their biggest problems. They want it now. Don’t want to learn the theory or the mechanics of how things actually work. I’m not talking about Wait before your turn. I’m talking about learn before your turn….

I wrote to one of his team only to receive a condescending email by one of his consulting team. Please don't talk to us about black...We are our own worst enemy!!!
@galaceefunky10 күн бұрын
ok..let's talk sensibly about leadership...one cannot 'lead' by oneself...leaders arise from followers lending their support in exchange for some collective attained goal...again it's the collective that determines the validity of goal-setting as they are the ones putting the effort in...so what are we following? independence? we have independent nations we can participate in but we would have to sacrifice some of our rights to be citizens...and lord know, if our egos can stand that..freedom from oppression? again trading oppressed for oppressor status is what we secretly seek and that's different from freedom. power? power over whom? ourselves or others?..even dictators compromise and negotiate if they expect to stay in power...

I have watched this behavior in pastors. And just before the other brother jumped in with the information withholding, I was at that moment thinking that thought. I personally and seriously am concerned about giving and turning things and power over to the youth of today. Before turning anything over to them they need to be mentored and inclined for the role to be assumed. Their head has to be fully in the game or feet on that path. Too many young people are wreckless today, emotionally unfit for service. But I agree with the Dr. so many people in our community are power hungry, but totally uneffective in service. Churches are full of the uneffective office holders and so is our political leadership it's just power to have power.

you try to tell them about their history, they don't want to hear about the experience, and try to tell them how things were for their parents these young people don't, but listen to their* peers, and when they keep running into3 brick wall, maybe years, later it might click abut life on life terms, and then they ready to move forward
