Inexpensive Accessory Rack for Dyson V7, V8, V10 and V11!

We LOVE the Dyson V8 vacuum. It does a great job, and has a great array of attachments included when you buy any of the V-series products. But, the standard dock that Dyson provides only holds the vacuum head and 2 other non-motorized attachments - NOT GOOD!
You can buy an optional expanded dock from Dyson if you like, but like any popular product, there are other companies that step in and provide after market accessories. And, that's the case with the LANMU Docks Station Accessory Organizer, with holders that are compatible with Dyson V10, V8, and V7 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaners.
LANMU's product is inexpensive, simple, and easy to install, and allows us to store all the accessories that came standard with our vacuum. We liked the product and think you will too!

I love this machine! kzbin.infoUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g Assembly was a snap, only the handle had to be put on and it slides right in. Then a container filled with water and solution. This is not a vacumme cleaner, although the makers say you don't need to vacumme first. It is mainly for solid floor surfaces, but has a rug setting too. I have no rugs, so only used it on my pine wood floors. The machine has a mopping type rolling thing on the bottom, that scrubs the floor with water mixed with cleaning solution. A small bottle of the solution comes with the machine. Dirty water goes into a second compartment. The machine work worked quite well. It isn't very loud, and my floor looks so much better than when I mop it. Best of all, it is so much easier and less messy to use than a mop and bucket! I had a couple of things that might be nice, but not necessary. One is if the cord would retract into the machine instead of having to be managed with one hand. The other is that the amount of floor covered by the amount of solution seemed to be less than stated. But then, I might have gone over the floor more times than intended. I hope I can find the cleaning solution easily, I don't know how available it will be!

He didn't answer, so here goes. He used cord concealer to hide and guide the cord. You can get it in different sizes and colors at hardware stores and online at Amazon, eBay, etc. They have it in the electrical section at hardware stores, usually where the multimedia stuff is displayed.

Once I crossed 60 years old I decided to stop hauling that heavy vac and all the attachments from floor to floor of our 3 story house. This video would be better if you focused on how secure the rack is, and how easy it is (or not) to attach and remove attachments from the dock. It didn’t look very stable, but it’s hard to say because that was the only part of the video you fast forwarded through, even though that was the only part really with useful information that we couldn’t just get from the amazon page of the product. It seemed like you needed to support the rack with your other hand in order to add or remove attachments. For future videos please try to give more of a review and discuss the product’s pros and cons etc. That would give your videos a lot more value.

Space Cadet, thanks for your insights. As for the attachment, it's an inexpensive accessory, moderate quality and weight. It works well and does multiply the holding positions of the original rack. However, it would be inaccurate to describe it as heavy duty or especially durable. It has a simple job to do, and it does it. Best Regards, DFJ

Amazon doesn't allow reviews for products unless it is through their Vine program. That is why I don't trust Amazon reviews. I get 10-20 requests everyday to do reviews. They don't want honest reviews, they want good reviews. Amazon needs to seriously revamp their review policies. Loved your simple video! Question what is the total width across? mounting in a tight area. Also instruction booklet states, " Unplug charger when not in use for extended periods." What are your thoughts on unplugging?

Linda, Good question! With both accessories put in, the total width is 13-1/2". The base unit, which you already have, is about 4". As for leaving the charger plugged in ongoing, that's what we do. However, we use the vac almost daily simply because it's so handy and better than a broom and dustpan. The concern that many have is that the battery will either overcharge, or the battery will acquire "memory" and not take as thorough a charge ongoing. We have the V8, and according to the Dyson website, they have put smart electronics into their charging systems for their product line. Because of this, they recommend you leave the unit on the charger base ongoing. I hope this helps! Best, DFJ

We thought there were missing parts. Why would Dyson NOT have a holder for all the accessories? This is ridiculously stupid for an overpriced vacuum. I would have not considered purchasing it if I had known this. It works fine but there are others that are comparable in performance, cheaper, and has holders for all the accessories.
