Is the cover easy to take off? Did you get the concierge cover?

Got the regular cover and it's pretty easy to open. Just open half way then slide off the hot tub and it stands nicely next to the tub.

Can you convert the Hudson Bay HB -19 to 240 volts? I was told that you can,(when I purchased it) but I have an electrician who says it is only supposed to have a dedicated plug.

Yes you can upgrade it to the 240 volts you need to have an electrician if you don't know what you're doing do it and it's just unscrew a couple wires screw in a couple more and remove a jumper and I am an electrician by the way. And I upgraded mine to 240. But it's not a regular plug it's hard wired into a 50 amp breaker

Thank you so much for the tutorial! We just installed our new HB31 and converted it to 240v but we noticed (air bleeder hose?) where one end is connected to the pump and the other end is just opened and freely dangling at the corner of the tub, where does it connect to? When we turn the pump on, water comes out from it. Also, your spa seems to have way more pressure from the jets than ours does. Any input would be greatly appreciated as we are not getting much help from their support. So glad we stumbled across your video, it helped a lot! Bobbi

So it sounds like one of your Jets or the water feature is disconnected and that's what that hose would be the only places that the pump should be connected to on the outlet side should be Jets and water features. And you can take off the panels all the way around if you have to to locate which ones not connected and that'll be a simple just reconnect it back on there. Also if that's the problem then that's also one reason you're not getting as much pressure on your jets cuz you're losing a bunch of pressure out of that hose that should be confined down to smaller hole to spray out of the Jets. Does water leak out of your tub when you don't have the pump on? If so that means the jet would be under the water line. If not then whatever it is, isprobably a water feature like a waterfall or something that's above the water and that's why no water leaks out. I would also check the Jets on every single one for the pressure, they might be closed so if you rotate them the face of the jet you can rotate some of them and open and close them and if they're partially closed or all the way closed then you won't get very much pressure. So I would check those first and let me know how it goes. It's hard without a picture or video to know exactly but it's pretty simple as far as in the pump should only have hoses running to Jets and water features only things that water sprays out of other than that you have an intake side that comes off of your filter that runs into the pump and that's where it sucks in the water from the hot tub pulls it across the heating element and then pushes it back out through the Jets.

I have this exact model just got it today. I have 240 already run, so I just remove that jumper wire and hook connect the 240 and good to go? Thanks

Thanks for an informative video. I have the one person Hudson Bay Spa, it is time to change the filter and my pool store said Hudson Bay is proprietary for the filter? Can you use a filter from maybe Amazon? The factory wants $35.00 for each filter and will only sell package of 3? thanks in advance for your time.
