Not condoning the crimes that he committed, but this kid is an absolute legend. The fact that he came from nothing and had the ability to think freely enough to chase such a wild dream and evade so many law enforcement agencies without hurting anyone and teach himself how to fly planes is just down right impressive. gotta respect his skills.

He stole money but he never brought anything. He did not even look back to take the money and run. He sold his life story to 20th-century fox for 1.4 million to pay restitution to his victims. He did not hurt anyone physically. He got to study aeronautical engineer after a harder dangerous journey. His skills in stealing to survive, learning on his own to fly a plane risking his life. Barefoot survivor He took the wrong way, But he took the hardest way to achieve his goals with the whole world behind him to kill him and capture him for so long. I'm a pretty highly trained survivalist and I have a PPL license. (Private Pilots License). His ability to survive and adapt so fast at such a young age is just incredible. Because I'm so familiar his story I just think about all the time that went by that a hour and 20 minute documentary can't even begin to put into detail. He had to have spent months just living in the woods and even with his isolated childhood he still high a very good understanding of technology and the internet. If he had put any effort at all into staying off their radar he would probably still be free.
