An awesome way to integrate the touchpad in this game, and I really hope they do this, is if you can switch between powers using the touchpad by swiping across it. If Sucker Punch did this it would make switching powers smoother and it would allow for great chains of different powers. For example after Delsin has run up a wall using neon you could easily swipe the touchpad and have him use his smoke powers to fly through the air.

You switch powers by draining the power that you want to equip. For instance if you're using smoke, and then want to switch to neon, you would have to drain some neon. If they would do that, with the swipe over the touchpad, it would become a little bit impossible, since I think there's a minimum of 5 power types.

Yes but they could easily have the touchpad register different directional swipes. For example smoke could require you to swipe diagonally down the touchpad. Then for neon just swipe across west. Then for another power swipe east. Then another swipe south east e.t.c Also if there were lots more power the touchpad could just register shapes so if you drew a circle on the touchpad it could change to electricity or something... I hope they bring back that power. I suspect Xbox will be able to have functions like this with its exclusives using kinect voice commands. May not be that efficient but who knows.

This game is the best Infamous game to date. I hope they build on Delsin as a character. He was far more interesting than Cole. In which, must I say, they need a sequel to this. Living near Seattle, they designed Seattle perfectly.

Cole kind of reminded me more of the Marvel hero, Wolverine. Gotta give him some credit though on the Infamous 2, he was a little bit more focused on powering up to defeat the Beast rather than complaining about having powers. Delsin is the type who is like Spider-Man, a bit arrogant and has fun with his powers. I cannot wait what Second Son has in store for us for Delsin's journey.

When Delsin flew up in the air and came falling down with such speed and force in the last trailer, it showcased the amazing environmental attacks Delsin can do! Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but when you actually do those kinds of moves, the damage that appears from it stay there for the rest of the game. Like they actually don't go away! I think that's pretty cool that the game has that ability to make that permanent.

Considering that the PS4 has better hardware than the PS3 I would expect that they would make it larger, but if they keep it traditional then it will be split into multiple parts; they could make more parts or just make the parts larger. They make it 60 fps and it means the graphics will have to be toned down resulting in people saying they suck, the only other way to retain 60 fps and keep the graphical quality is to reduce it to 720p, and we all know that's also going to result in people whining about the game.

Has anyone else considered this new character might have the powers of the beast? He may not be a giant but his base power is burning ash and he can drain powers from other conduits without the help of a machine. At some point you might even be able to give powers to others. And don't forget that the first suns were a shadowy organization in the first game. The second sons are likely the true enemies in this game. Maybe they built or are building a new ray sphere. BOM, BOM, BOMMMM!

Completely a matter of opinion, and I say its still too early to say. Though MS is going to have to push more exclusives than they did last Gen, that is true. Still im personally looking forward to QuantumBreak, next-Gen Halo and for me DR 3 looks like the most interesting launch game. Real time, I played one and two and I'm pretty sure they're real time, cause they use a comic art version in some cutscenes. Try watching inFamous 2 cutscenes with other costumes you get the cutscenes whatever costume you wear.

Wazley Da man Don't forget Resogun, another awesome PS game, and so far, out of all the versions, I'm loving the PS4 version of Battlefield 4. I do pretty damn awesome with it, much more than I ever did with the Xbox 360, though, that game honestly is more of a time killer until more games start coming, including this one, which I'm excited as hell for :)

I hope the different power types are actually different and not just different flavours of the same stuff. I mean i get that they are all going to be kind of the same because teh game will play in a particular way, but i hope the different powers actually do do different things and its not just a choice between red bolts and purple bolts. That said so far the game looks great and barring some giant fuck up i will be getting this game.

The powers in inFAMOUS 2 weren't all the same, there's no reason why they would change that with Second Son.

They will work in a certain way. Smoke is for swift close combat while neon is more like long range and taking your time. But they haven't shown us everything which is a good thing, we haven't even seen neon's special ability except for the smoke karma bomb.

Infamous has been a favorite of mine forever, at least since my bro and I got Infamous 1 for free because of that PSN crash back on PS3. But either way, I played through the original like 13 times, and was happy when I realized here was a second. In 2014 when I was serious about gaming, I saw Second Son, and it has a warm place in my heart. Please do something like this again Sucker Punch 👊.

30fps isn't so nesecary with a game like InFamous, it is nice to have 60fps, but it only really matters when you're playing something online like a Shooter. If it runs a solid 30fps with these graphics and in 1080p i'm happy.
