Ocarina of time, majora's mask, and twilight princess were all legitimately creepy and even sad in many places. I hope we get a return even if I do like breath of the wild's almost upbeat apocalypse (yeah, the kingdom is destroyed and many people died horribly... but in the present, there are several thriving towns, at least one per race even, a thriving network of trade and travel through the stables, and even a new generation of heroes taking up the mantle that the older ones left in their failure. Sure, the new generation can't entirely stop the divine beasts, much less Ganon himself, but it's not like the old generation really did much better initially, despite having significantly better resources and numbers).

I think that Dead Hand may not only be affiliated with the "man who could see the truth, but the man himself; it was said that his house was where the well was, as well as the fact that it guards the lens of truth. Now, I know there's the theory that Bong Bongo could be said man, but he only appears in the adult timeline from the well. You'd think if you went there as a child you would find it there, so Impa probably sealed it down there between the seven year gap when Link pulled the Master sword. Also, I'm aware that there's multiple Dead Hands, but they could simply be people who have met a similar fate to the man.
@ZelRando4 жыл бұрын
Very interesting points, although it could be possible that during the child portion of the game, Bongo, Bongo was trapped deeper within the well and just gradually escaped throughout the 7 years Link was sealed away, but who knows haha :)

I disagree that BoTW is the most ambitious Zelda game. In my opinion it has to be OoT. The jump from 2D to 3D was huge and moved the series forward further than BoTW has. In a sense BoTW played for par when compared to other open world games of it's time. There are valid reasons for OoT being on so many people's lists of greatest games of all time.
@evdestroy53043 жыл бұрын
OoT practically invented the 3d adventure formula, while the open world formula was already made a long time before BotW, it just refined it.

I love breath of the wild but it absolutely is not the most ambitious game in the series at all.
@Kobolds_in_a_trenchcoat3 жыл бұрын
@@toxic_revenant3 I disagree, a link to the past could never have been ocarina of time. The technology for a 3D adventure game simply wasn't there, certainly not an even remotely good one. There may be an argument that a link to the past may be what the original was trying to be, ocarina of time was new to the series and a huge leap forward for gaming as a whole, if not inventing many mechanics taken for granted even today, certainly popularizing them.

I’m so confused.. I played Ocarina of Time 3DS all the time when I was younger. I was literally obsessed with it. I have no idea how many hours I put into that game, but I’m certain the number would be shocking. Yet no matter how many times I played I don’t think I’ve ever seen Deadhands.. to be fair I was absolutely terrified of ReDeads and I tried to avoid places with them as much as I could. In fact I didn’t even know Deadhands existed until a few days ago! I have a terrible memory so there’s a chance that I could have and just forgot about it, but I swear I’ve never heard of or seen this this until a few days ago. How did I not know about this?

While I enjoyed seeing these monsters. You didn't add any theory, conjecture, or explanations to the creation, existence, or appearance of these creatures. This was just a video of look at these things you have seen. Try adding a bit of self theory, and researched background that isn't just a description.

I'll admit, the dungeons here in Kakariko village both as the adult & child, always had me on the edge of my seat the most. Playing the dungeons was like being in a horror movie! ooh I love dark and scary things! interesting theory as well. And just for the fun of it, what if Link didn't teach Guru-Guru the song of storms? What if someone else taught him the song at a later point during the 7 years, Guru-Guru taught Link the song in his fury, Link went back in time and then played it before the other person would, ultimately creating the paradox?

Redeads in OOT are not blind. They actively walk towards their target even if it stood still. Don't know if you get why this happens but it because they can SEE their target. Want proof use the hover boots and change location when a redead is walking at you. The boots make no footsteps and therefore no noise but the redead will change direction to follow you. At least do your research when making these videos.
