Side note, I forgot to mention how you got into them is how I got into them 😂 laughing at how extreme it is, to casually playing thru the BoY at work. And as far as the drumming, I remember seeing that the intent was to have it all programmed but Aaron would be able to somewhat play it live in a way, don't quote me, but a younger faster Aaron probably could have, he doesn't update much on socials but he's looking better recently than ever. Plus having them programmed adds to the whole image of being over the top and oppressive

So quick story about Infant Annihilator, they started in Mister Sister Fister, which one of the vocalist of this ex project is mister Alex Teyen, vocalist of Black Tongue and then they made Infant. They started with Dan Watson as a vocalist to release their first album in 2012, who then left and began Enterprise Earth and then left Enterprised Earth to start Mire Lore. After Dan left, there was a huge gap in the middle and then Dickie came into the picture and they released the second album in 2016, third album in 2019 and then we heard nothing from them. Until now, where they have brought back Alex Teyen for this EP. So this ep has 2 vocalist dividing duties which makes this EP even hit harder because they have such distinctive tones. Also on the topic of Black Tongue, in contrast of Infant Annihilator, they are one of the sludgiest, slowest, heavy, hard hitting band. They feature both members of IA, mister Aaron Kitcher on Drums and Eddie Pickard on guitars, and Alex Teyen on vocals, also features the other guitar player named James Harrison, highly recommend their album NADIR. And its fucking hilarious that those two british lads from Hull are in one of the fastest most disgusting lyrics and one of the most slowest disgusting tone/groove/feel and poetic lyrics.

This EP rerecord has grown on me so hard. Apocalypse Incarnate is SO good, as is the rest of it. Just took a few listens to really appreciate it

Absolutely right that your early introduction to IA was baptism by fire, I would argue that's most peoples introduction to the band if you just stumble across them on the internet. They're essentially the Tree Sentinel of Deathcore lol, if you're not digging it when it gets this deep you might want to turn back

IA's new album has been announced along with this EP and only the vocals are left to do, so I'm hoping for an early 2025 release. I'm certain that the new album will be return to form as we remember it from The Battle of Yaldabaoth. Simply couldn't be more excited.
