I am very confused in S and s notations . If s is called sample variance as said in this video then what would S be called? Please tell

It really helps me alot, awesome. You said that the uniform dist. has the same mean and variance of the normal dist. Is that right? Did actually they have the same mean and variance?? Thanks for your help
