The automatic safety shut off valve does make this a very safe torch but it is a pain to use for weeding. I would prefer a blast lever and constant flame. I have to hold the torch with both hands to adjust the flame. Not ideal for weed burning.

I agree. There are so many idiots now that everything has unwanted safety features that make things a pain in the butt to use. Stupid people and lawyers have complicated things for people with common sense.

I got this at lowes and it's such a pos. where do you get a real blow torch?

Mine sat in a shed for a year and now the flame is weak. I don't see any way to disassemble and clean out the nozzle. Not spending another $60 on a new one.

@@LincolnElectricRetail Need to post a follow up in case anyone else experences this issue. It wasn't the torch that deteriorated, it was my memory. The intstructions reminded me to open the tank valve VERY SLOWLY. I did this, and the torch works perfectly.

Holy cow what a piece of garbage the flame doesn't stay lit without handle depressed. Thought i was doing something wrong.
