Lets be honest, I think they both still are not going to like each other for a long time and will probably beef again over something else. I think both Simply decided to call a cease fire, mainly because of how big and feverant each fanbase is. This is the first time I heard the full story of the Jack v MrBeast drama, and I don't think people get that not everything is black and white. There was obviously more to what Jack meant, but his response was short and to the point because he's doing a lie detector test. I'm sure Jack doesn't necessarily hate MrBeast as a person, what he hates is that he single-handedly caused the "MrBeastification" of KZbin, if you will, where a lot of creators simply just copy whatever Jimmy does. That doesn't mean Jimmy is a bad person, but rather the accidental harbinger of doom on the platform. You could also understand Jimmy's point of view by simply watching the Colin and Samir podcasts, as the grinding and spending millions to make the best videos possible *is* the fun part for him, and he is one of the few people with way too much money that actually uses it constantly to try and make the world better. Both """"sides"""" have valid points and I'm sure that's why they could amicably settle the issue like adults, rather than screaming to the masses why they're right.

I think what bothered me the most was that comment about Let's Plays. It's not just playing the game which is a big part of it. But it's the person playing the game. If it's blind, how do they react at certain parts? How long does it take to clear a puzzle? Or if it isn't blind, is the Let's Player informative? What surprising things can still happen to catch them off guard? And of course there is going to be editing involved too! That said, I understand that it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Also I am someone who can watch an LP for a game I never played and then just play it myself later.

But the argument that "oh its bland and fucking boring," (his words) for a person to have different pronouns than what would be typical of how they were born, is to me very strange. I think people who aren't the same as me personally are very interesting, and learning about those differences and why they are the way they are and showing common people respect, not because I have to, but because I want to, I think provides a lot more value to society than saying, "Oh how dare you say men can be women and women can be men." It isn't about that at all, actually. It's about women discovering themselves, men discovering themselves, or non-binary people discovering themselves because they always were the gender they feel they are. And that's all being trans is, being in the wrong body when the mind does not match how the body is. At least, that's been my personal experience, hence why there's options like hrt, sex reassignment surgery, etc. Also, if truly he is that torn up about pronouns ruining his escapism, can we in confidence say his pronouns are he/him? Genuinely not of a malice, but if dude just can't accept pronoun choice, really identity choice in a video game, then why play a game where identity choice is an option and not even something that really matters other than for immersion when it isn't even the main focus. Of course, in the game, it was a plot point, but for an unrelated character to the player. It never would've once made him angry to see "are you a boy or a girl" in Pokémon as an example, but if it came out that a pokemon character was trans as a plot point, only then would he probably lose his mind. Even though Mrbeast makes more money, I'm pretty sure Jacksepticeye has publicly donated more money to charity than Jimmy has despite having way less views and earnings which is something to note (Jacksepticeye raised 5 million dollars in a single event alone, ignoring the other streamers with him raising money in the same project). About the pronouns in gaming thing. It's harmless but I don't see the point in it. I was playing baldurs gate and i saw that you can pick your pronouns, so I was like "Oh cool that's neat." But when I was playing through the game, never once did the game actually refer to my character as what I chose. So it was useless. I don't see the harm in it because it was such a small and insignificant part of character creation, so I have no idea why he was so pressed.

I’m on Jacksepticeye’s side. I think his point is valid to some extent, although I wouldn’t necessarily say Mr Beast “ruined” KZbin, just changed it. Mr Beast wanted to make it all about views and growing his channel, which is fine, if that’s what he was looking to do, but, like Jack said, if he really wanted to show he was “having fun,” he would make the videos longer to show more about what went into creating the videos. He tries to compress so much footage into a 10-15 minute video for the KZbin algorithm, but there’s just so much cuts and editing, it’s just not even that enjoyable to watch anymore…

I... can kind of see what big baby rage mad man is saying. It's pretty hard to decipher, but I think this is it. The point of stories, no matter the medium, is to teach you something, and make you think. For example, 1984 by George Orwell shows a dystopian world where a central government controls its citizens completely, and doesn't allow them to freely think. However, Orwell was able to weave a story through this idea to make a very compelling novel. Nowhere in the book does it outwardly state BIG GVNMNT BAD! It lets you think for yourself about the theme that you read and soaked in. Every good story does this. Where you get bad stories is when you are explicitly told WHAT to think. For example, in some generic YA novels, the teenagers immediately go "let's go rebel against the evil government and take it down!". You never read other perspectives, you are automatically told "those guys are bad". The message and how to interpret it is thrown in your face. That's not compelling, and is usually just fluff with no substance. The "thrown in your face" part is what I think big baby rage mad guy is blowing up about. He thinks... an option in a video game... is too explicit, and blew up on camera for some reason. Like I said, I just want to write out what I think he's trying to say. Hope this helps.

My reasons are that even though Jack was honest, he could have taken a longer minute to construct a more fair answer, the video jumps forward a bit after he was asked "why", so they clearly waited a moment for him to gather his thoughts. I think if they had waited a moment longer, they could have gotten an answer that wouldn't have been so misinterpreted. And the people who keep saying: *"Mr. Beast shouldn't be upset because some people don't like him,"* I feel like that's a red herring, they're distracting people from what's really upsetting Mr. Beast, he's upset about his answer for _why_ he ruined KZbin and the fact that Jack denied that he had any real passion for his videos, not because he "doesn't like him". If we look at Jack's answer, it's pretty flawed, Mr. Beast is not responsible for the people who have adapted to his style of content, copycats have been around since the platform started. It's just the nature of what happens when you're popular and trendy. And there have always been people on the platform who are hungry for money, it's just that KZbin is a growing market, so more and more people are doing it. And the statement: "If he enjoyed his videos, they'd be longer," that doesn't make sense because we literally have the shorts feature; there's a lot of people who enjoy doing shorter-form content, shorter videos don't equate to enjoyment. I understand that Mr. Beast's tweet was a bit condescending, especially the last part, but it's totally justified, not only was Jack's argument off the cuff, Jack and Jimmy are both humanitarians & peers, they hang out with a lot of the same people. So to hear that from him was understandably personal; given the tweet we saw of him saying he's mentally stressed, of course it upset him. Speaking of that tweet, it doesn't paint a holistic view of his experience on KZbin, all KZbinrs go through fatigue, even Jack took a month off once.

I think Jack just isn't a fan of pushing such many content especially in weekly basis when it involving huge content (not because the financial/cost reasons but rather health reasons). He is a content creator himself and has talk about mental health issue a few times as a content creator before. But when talking about Mr. Beast, he is a perfectionist and any content that won't live up to the expectations, he will scrapped it and move on to others. Considering he has Chrohn (life expectancy) and that kinda "haunts" him if he didn't do enough in his bucket list. I do think that he did care about him a little, considering how pushing such many content in a short period can take a toll to a creator health (mental and physical). Just look at when he release the burger at the mall, he literally tired himself and still want to kept going even after being advised to take a break because he doesn't want to disappoint his fans.
