Summarized for the vince situation. He asked a hacker for an interview about a video he was doing and hacker said no. But the hacker included that he was personally offended by the contents of the video. Vince understood but uploaded the video anyway, no big deal. (Hacker saw this as disrespectful) Hacker gets mad he uploaded and starts harrasing him via twitter. Then he copyright strikes using a proton mail. (Notable for being used by hackers because its basically untracable) He goes under a different name in the email(the hacker) but its the same guy. (Later on, but, after vince unblocked him on twitter, the hacker dms vince. Basically taunting him saying "Oh i dont know who "NameInTheEmail" is." Basically confirming that he is that person, because he would not have ANY access to see who filed the copyright strike) Vince had to counter the strike but had to submit a form. Which required his legal name and other personal. He did try to submit a different type. Not sure cuz im not into legal but. Instead of inserting his personal, he wanted to insert the details of someone who was representing him legally. But youtube didnt let him. Hacker starts finding out personal details about him because he got his info. And really starts doing real harm to vince. And to people in his personal life (his partner). He texted her messages pretending to be vince for some reason. Vince hired a private investigator to find out details about the hacker. And the area code they traced from the number that texted his partner was the same one that alligned with the hackers area code. The hacker did try to commit suicide. Vince included this to reinstate the point that. This man has nothing to loose. Is a hacker. And has all the time in the world. Hes afraid of what someone who has nothing to loose might do. And all this happened because vince got screwed over by the copystrike system in place. Had they let him take the right precuations because again, he was dealing with a hacker who hacked into the government. This would have been DRASTICALLY prevented.

One thing to note is that Vince wasnt able to send his lawyers info in the counterclaim at first because it required Vince's legal name that is tied to his KZbin account. Vince had to put his real name, but everything else (Im guessing address, phone number and email address) was the lawyer. Which I guess didnt do much seeing as the hacker found Vince's fiancee After the video the hacker originally striked was cleared(? or something im not sure but the video is up) hacker striked 3 other videos under a different name with proton mail (which to me sounds stupid, yes its untraceable but also so niche and is known for hackers and we know your a hacker)

Any new features added to character customization are applauded as it shows just how in depth developers will go to tailor characters to everybody’s personal preference We’ve gone from basic stuff like being different skin tones to being able to customize the size of your nose, forehead, boobs, butts, moles, dick, etc. Getting mad at being able to choose your own pronouns is straight up just a detriment to player customization. Like I said earlier, you are advocating against added customization to the player’s character. Also, avoiding gendered conversation is one of the oldest tricks in video games that let you choose the character you want to play as. It allows companies to streamline an experience regardless of who you choose to play as. This isn’t something unique to starfield. It’s simply easier to develop one conversation that fits all characters than to make a bunch of different ones. Bethesda has always been a shit company but allowing you to choose your pronouns in their games is so damn low on the totem pole of things they’ve done yet look at how it’s gotten the most attention. Starfield has had a shit launch but the only thing all these idiot reactionists are focusing on is PRONOUNS. Not the empty world, false advertisement, glitches and bugs, graphics, or any other of the many things that ACTUALLY effect the game.

I agree that politics shouldn't be in games HOWEVER, by that I mean political pandering. I don't care about the developers' political opinions. If the game is exploring political ideas and is actually something that's entertaining and engaging and gets your brain thinking, that is great. I like that. There are plenty of great games that do this really well. Idk anything about the pronouns feature of Starfield, but I'm assuming it's just a simple character customization thing and that's it, so I don't really care. Not sure why people are getting mad. As long as there's no weird unnecessary segment in the story where someone gets preachy about it and pulls you out of the immersion, then it should be fine.

I find it funny when people say "politics should stay out of games/movies etc.". Politics has ALWAYS been apart of movies and games, these people apparently just didn't notice it. The original Star Wars trilogy is an allegory for the American Revolution and Vietnam War. Final Fantasy 7 criticizes monopolistic megacorporations like Shinra. Metal Gear Solid is so politically charged I don't even know where to begin, but it is one of the most anti-nuclear weapon anti-war game series out there. He was in no position of power, and they decided to decline because of what he expressed. Food, water, shelter, sleep, and respect/humility. These all things that are unacceptable to take away from a kid as punishment. Also getting rid of anything you gave them permanently is also unacceptable. Locking them in anywhere is unacceptable. You can put them in time out, but part of that punishment is making them stay put under their own will power. If you tape them up or lock them in somewhere that’s just unacceptable. Not feeding your kid is not teaching them anything, it’s just starving them. I’m glad she was arrested.

I wish parents wouldn't treat privacy like a luxury. Like, I understand if you don't want them doing this or that, but privacy is more than keeping secrets. It's safety. I think my relationship with my father started deteriorating when I, 13 years old, asked him to knock before entering my bedroom because he's walked in on me changing several times and it was getting I comfortable. I was already not allowed to close my door during the day, this was the only thing I was asking for. His response was to start yelling at me and revoking permission to use his things. I didnt feel safe with him after that, and that feeling persists even now, and I'm nearly 31. That woman didnt want her kids to feel safe, and that's a problem. Privacy and safety are not _priveledges._ They aren't _luxuries._ Everyone deserves privacy and safety, regardless if you're three days old, three years, thirteen or thirty.
