I guess I could give some context on Jaymes Hansen for anyone that doesn't know(but it's not really that interesting). Jaymes was THE BLEACH GUY. If you wanted to know in depth lore, and character breakdowns he had some pretty solid videos. If you wanted leaks, rumors, or reactions, he had those to. He eventually stopped leaking stuff for reasons I don't 100% remember, so I won't go spread misinformation. Around the time he stopped leaking he started to become a bit unhinged(at least he was now allowing it to be seen in the public eye). He started casually dropping slurs, mostly the N word, on discord and in tweets/dm's. There's a decently sized list as to why people started to not like him, but his biggest sin was becoming THE ULTIMATE BLEACH GATEKEEPER. Just because he was creating Bleach content, and constantly gassing it up for a nearly a decade with next to no Bleach content(unless you count 1 mobile game, a few novels(which are good, just not as hype as the manga or anime), and the art exhibitions that would happen close to yearly), he came to have the mentality that if you have ever said anything negative(even if it was constructive), or if you weren't making at least 1 Bleach video a month calling it Peak Fiction, then you are his enemy. So when the Anime was announced to finally be coming back he started calling everyone fake for being excited, and saying that they don't deserve to watch the anime, because they were "haters". He has a bit of a Bleach Messiah complex. He has somehow become delusional enough to think that he has had a big role to play in Bleach returning. He was always a bit cocky, but he started to be extra full of himself when Bleach returned. I won't say there isn't a chance he helped, because his video's were great at informing people about means in which they could help show the people in charge that Bleach was worth investing in, but in reality he at most had a 1% contribution to it's return(which is probably being generous, but 1% is still pretty good). I was someone that respected what he was trying to do(not him specifically, because there were plenty of reasons to not be a fan of him, just his content), but you could tell that once the Anime was announced that he felt like he did it, and that everyone should be grateful. Now, I won't say he's entirely a bad person, but he is unhinged. At least I wouldn't have called him a bad person until he said Afro should've died in his car crash, because that's fucked up, especially over a series created by a person from a different country that he doesn't have any personal connection to. The crazy thing about Jaymes is that he's not only THE ULTIMATE BLEACH GATEKEEER, he's also THE ULTIMATE BLEACH HYPOCRITE. In every single one of his reactions/reviews of the Bleach TYBW Anime, he would constantly nitpick the animation, story boarding, minute background details, etc. Sure, it is constructive criticism(most of the time), but nitpicking a series so hard, while calling others fake for not hyping up a stagnate series for a decade is absurd. For this recent Game Trailer, he was literally the only person I saw nitpicking it. Everyone that he calls "fake" or "just in it for the clout" were all gassing it up while he was going "Um, this flavor text that the devs put in their blog post is worrisome" and "why is this thing this color" and "why is blood replaced by this" etc. Everyone else was just happy to finally get a Bleach Console Game, but he took it personally.

While watching season 4 I took a break and watched season 1 to refresh some details, and the difference was very clear. Much more focused, tightly written, way better pacing, more memorable lines, and a lot less shock scenes for the sake of it. I don't think season 4 is terrible for sure, there's still good elements that makes the show still worth watching, but I think even the biggest fan of this season could see that it's lacking the focus and great pacing of the previous ones.

The Boys season 4 hasn't been the worst thing I've seen, but it's still mainly bad. I was actually thinking about skipping episodes until The last 2 episodes. The episode 6 being the worse of the two, but still decent when compared to the rest of the season. It's like this season is being directed by somebody else that wants to ham fist all of the characters into whtever hot topic conversation that's going on.
