Anyone in the same situation as the victims in this video: 1. Disconnect from the internet 2. Reset windows with a bootable USB drive and not factory reset in windows, you want a completely clean drive. 3. Reset all your passwords whether you think its compromised or not on a SAFE device 4. Add 2FA if not on already 5. Delete all your backup codes after you secured your account and generate new ones. Keep a close eye on your financials and professional life apps for a week or 2 after resetting just to be safe.

Anyone in the same situation as the victims in this video: (1) Cover all cameras ( if you have any ) (2) get a usb drive and install your compatible windows, drivers , graphis card drivers etc on it from another laptop (3) search up what button it is to go to bios settings once just opened pc - ( For lenovo F12 ) (4) Pick ur usb option once you press the key (5) Windows factory reset options will pop up , go through it. (6) VERY IMPORTANT , while you're going through factory reset there will be something about paritions if you are on windows 11, delete all of them except the one you cant delete you'll know this by deleting the ones you can delete till you cant. (7) Congratulations i just helped you factory reset your PC with a USB DRIVE like this comment so others can see.

I'd be willing to bet the 'spies' put their discord bot token in the malware, and from there if you have a sample of the malware you can probably reverse engineer it and from there get the bot token (and hence log in as it).

doesn't matter if the only thing that was compromised was your OS, the windows built in recovery tool basically wipes your entire drive clean leaving just the boot loader in tact so it can boot again and run the setup, which both of these can't be infected with a standard RAT because they're both written in ASM (assembly language, its basically the computers language) but that doesn't mean they cant, they can and if they where to, than it would be a very major threat to security because of it's stealth and effectiveness, tho these idiots probably don't even know ASM and have no sufficient knowledge to do something like that and if you wipe your entire drive as i usually do when setting up a new OS than it wont matter, the RAT and eventual infected bootloader won't really matter because when setting up a new OS you usually do it with an external flash drive, so the bootloader that is used to run the setup is on a clean flashdrive and you're installing the OS on a 'fresh' drive. only scenario where it would be recommended is if your router or other network device that is a part of your local networks topology was compromised and infected. It could spread on multiple devices in your network and cause a lot of commotion, these scenarios are rare because producents of routers take precausions in this area, and also most home routers are not that feature packed so they cant really be used as nicely as a cisco router or a mikrotik, and than also small fryes like these guys in the video are not really that smart and they dont have the environment or knowledge to do something like this

Man discord is way nicer for C&C than IRC ever was. This makes me nostalgic for like 2002, intentionally going on forums/chats on alts asking for private CS hacks, reversing the malware, finding the C&C server and command password, logging in pretending to be a bot, monitoring their activities, and when they seem to be asleep, deploy the auto-steal script that had all the bots download a new RAT and uninstall the old one. I miss being a kid.

I got hacked around 7 years ago through this method, I was much younger at the time and did not understand computer then. I got a back door Trojan. They made it so I couldn’t reset my pc, accessed my webcam, microphone, and did not let me reset my pc. I was barely a teenager then. I reset my pc failing for hours then finally letting me reset it. I had someone check it who was good with computers at the time and was shocked because they weren’t even trying to fish information, they were just being weird. Be careful out there.

Many ways if you can do if you suspect to be ratted 1. Turn off wifi when resetting windows 2. Run a malwarebytes scan 3. Win + R and type MRT 4. Just never run random files on discord especially password protected ones.

While I was playing Valorant, I got jumpscared by Jeff the Killer at full volume, and the guy crashed my PC with the blue screen of death. @@MrCrackerplaysthis, it is destructive in the sense it’d be hard to simply recognize characters from a given image, however knowing details such as the font and the type of information obfuscated it wouldn’t be impossible to narrow down several possible candidates for the information that would produce that mosaic pattern… Unless (and I am speculating), he’s using a filter which takes two colors as an input and generates random characters and obfuscates those. Not super likely but also not unthinkable.
