Beautiful deck, friend. To give a bit more IT background, the animations and all is displaying, because that is only on a client side. Now The MTGA is in Unity, and I believe, that if the server had crashed, then you would get a message about the crash, or server unavailability (very probably). Now the thing why is is taking too long for server to process is weird, because we are, essentially, looking at 349 triggers (time 32:06), not sure how many raptors to duplicate you have, but lets state 4 (if I see correctly). Then we have a mathematical sequence. On First trigger we get 4*2 in total. On the second trigger we get 4*2*2 in total. The final amount would be 4*(2^349) raptors. Now, for comparison of the numbers, if we look at security, and encryption, for AES (an encryption algorithm), there are 2^256 possible keys. That is still considered as so high number, that is is not countable really, and probably it is larger than the amount of atoms in the universe. To get to the point: If you would like to iterate all 2^256 posibilities that will just take biluions of space years to complete (if at all), even if you would have all the computational power in the world. You have generated even larger exponent. Now, let's have a look on what server does. Apparently, it [iterates] through all the copies, and triggers. Which, I would like to point out, is very, very bad coding, and there is better way to do it. To conclude it: I would guess that the server is still running, but still calculating. To be honest, it is good, because they wrote the code so badly, they deserve it. On the other hand, if you try to create 2^256 instances of a card, you will run out of a memory at one point. So the server is filling up his memory, and at one point it will run out, or crash. That could take few minutes, but maybe even like half an hour, I do not know...Even if one card instance would be only one Byte (which it is not), server would neede memory of 4*2^349 bytes. Using a calculator, that is 1 * 10^68 GB, which is 1 * 10^65 TB which is 1 * 10^62 PB (That is petabyte). There is no way the server (ol all servers, if the memory would be shared) would have 1 * 10^62 PB at disposal. That is insane number indeed. Now ofcourse, one card does not allocate 1byte only, but more. Ofcourse, if you would have only one card instance in a memory, and add there number bnext to it, defining it's count, there would be no such problem. The problem is that the programeers chose to iterate and copy all the card instances (probably)

Probably not, if it supports multiple threads, and there are multiple servers, and the data is sharded across them, which every good system would do it like that, so even if the developers of the game iterate all triggers and monsters in a loop, there are threads, and different servers, so I can imagine that only the games, that are using that one server, and that particular thread, will get jammed :D

I had this conversation pulled on me early into my arena playing. They stopped the triggers and dealt enough damage that it said I had over 1000 health (some crazy number that wasn't negative any longer) it was a beautiful sight to see

Great combo! By the way, if you’re looking for more indestructible effects, song of freyalise, adamant will, sheltering light, unbreakable formation, and make a stand are all pretty solid options.

set a stop on your untap, so you can scry just before draw but after untap. It gets through your deck faster to the card you want when you scry with treasure map

LoL I did something similar on Magic online with "Precursor Golem", a 3/3 artifact that comes into play making x2 copies of itself. I hit the Golem with a "Rite of Replication" and paid the kicker to duplicate the Golem x5, then used two level 4 "Echo Mage" to make two copies each of "Rite of Replication". This created x5 "Rite of Replication" which will make 25 more Golems that each create x2 more copies of themselves. Then the fun begins cause the Golem says "Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single Golem, that player copies that spell for each other Golem that spell could target. Each copy targets a different one of those Golems.". This will create 200 "very vulnerable" Golems, but it's fun to watch.

poly raptor is my main deck on MGTA and I got a person to -4812 health when he had around 530 health due to his life link/ajani deck. Only reason why I didn't do more damage and get more poly raptors is because when you get to around 300-450 poly raptors it takes the game about 10 minutes to load it all in. Also try poly raptor and Verdant of the Sun, i got to about 5000 hp with it before my opponent conceded.

In the game options you can manually order triggers, order the polyraptors before the ripjaws and you wont deck yourself

I do this in my gishath deck, with carthars crusade because edh is master format. Also works on a smaller scale with raptor hatchling if you can give them both indestructible

Raptor hatchling can't go infinite, the tokens end up dying faster than they can be made

i have seen a nice combo on arena using the Forerunner of the empire were the Forerunner was on the feild with a Raptor Hatchling and a Frilled Deathspitter, the guy made the indestrusctible with Make a Stand and then played another dino and i died to the frilled deathspitted hitting me with 2 damage over and over while it toke me a minute to see what he was doing

Been running this since I started playing this client but I use "make a stand". That way you can pull the infinite off with poly or "Raptor hatchling" ... Sprinlke in death spitter for optional win con.

If you run Etali, Primal Storm you can play Forerunner of the Empire right before you attack with Etali to stack Polyraptor to the top of your deck and play it for free with Etali.

I use Marauding Raptor in place of Forerunner. Makes Polyraptor cheaper, and is just a flat 2 damage to entering creature =)
