Fun fact if you also use Fighting Pose A it activates auto guard. By having that on you can dodge Super God Fist.

You can also manually guard. This new UI dodge mechanic is pretty interesting in that if a hit would remove more than a bar when guarding, it dodges instead. For example, if you are guarding and the opponent does a charged heavy, your character will dodge it despite being in guard stance instead of getting stamina broken. This new transformation never ceases to impress me with those clever "hidden" mechanics.

If you wandering, from base you get half bar of ki and stamina, to get it to full, you need 24 attributes points in KI to get 8 bars, 8 attributes points in stamina to get 8 full bars, this is assuming you have Qq bang that is +5 in one or both. Hope this helps.

That's only if you use a QQ with +5 arrow in Ki and Stamina. The values are different between having +5 and using a neutral qq bang.

Late to this but right now im testing UI and Data Input using the Super Soul "Im stronger now than i ever was" Its Buuhans Super Soul. When ki is maxed out, boosts stamina recovery. When stamina is maxed, boosts ki recovery. And using Data Input, while dodging you gain ki faster so at a point you get infinite ki and stamina recovery. Just letting everyone know if they dont.

Actually, when I use a human male character with UI, the counter, in some way, actually only costs 1 Ki Bar instead of two. Yes, it does consume two bars of ki, however one bar is in fact restored while the attack animation is going on, so it effectively only costs 1 Bar. Not sure if this is exclusive to human characters, but still, that makes it a bit more useful in my eyes =)

Ngl I can't shake the feeling that in probably the next patch either Dimps or Bandai are gonna buff UI's Dodge (more specifically *what* UI can dodge and how much stamina it takes to dodge) due to the fact that UI legit doesn't have any stat boosts so making it a direct counter for Strike Supers/Ultimates in terms of dodging them like Data Input would be a good choice since things like Shield Barrier exist as a counter for ki supers (can't remember if it can counter ki ultimates tho)

I think I’ll use it. If I want to use the counter, I’ll sacrifice a little stamina by moving around. And if I’m low, I’ll just stand still. I think it’s worth it. I probably won’t use lovely cyclone though. If I have to repeatedly use a skill regardless. Mine as well just use data input over and over again.

Super god fist works as a command grab because it functionally is one. It triggers an animation and camera shift that it locks the other player into on hit. The only real difference between it and something like Broly's is that the animation it uses is a punch, and they made it blockable. In essence, for the attack to function the way it's designed to, they would've had to either give it the command grab property, or design something specifically for it, and they chose the option that saved dev time.

Lovely Cyclone is more useful for power-up skills that take longer to activate like meditation or one of the poses. It can still work with Data Input but your skill list is already gonna be kinda cramped since you'll likely have DI/Charge skill/Cyclone which only leaves one free super, and Data Input is already one of the faster poses so you may wanna consider another move besides Lovely Cyclone if you wanna be less restricted.

Personally I'd prefer to use other defensive skills to compliment Ultra Instinct. Using UI Sign Goku taught me an actual counter move compliments UI rather well, back hit moves are great since you can't ki cancel when your opponent vanishes, zoning moves work nicely with it, and moves that make you harder to hit like Senko Ki Blast.

You can actually use soaring fist to hit your opponent when they vanish behind you and dash away the exact same way you would ki cancel (backhit behind you once then basic ki blast), meaning you don’t really need to ki cancel it just immediately puts you back on the attack

@@antoniodunbar1643 backhitting became ineffective because people started dashing away instead of attacking you when they snapped behind you. The general tactic now is to backhit once (if it hits them great, there probably a scrub) but if it misses to ki cancel and dash after them. You can actually do this with ui soaring first the exact same way you would ki cancel but instead of basic stunning them it’s going to send them flying and you’ll have to chase them but you can catch up to them in time to combo extend

Don’t worry this Perfect UI tech isn’t completely broken, basic ki blast still drain stamina at normal rate when auto dodging, command grabs still work and any super or ult that ki blast based, if they using auto dodge, just use command grabs and side steps into ki blast supers anything else is gettting auto dodge with infinite stamina, I freaking love this game, plus I’ve fought some ui fighters with tech that outclass this infinite stamina tech, like pose k + do or die + data input + ultra instinct, I had to fight someone using this tech and by the time I figured out what he was doing the match was over he straight out classed the PUI tech

Oh and I forgot to mention you can now perfect block while moving with this tech active data input + UI + Auto Just Guard limit burst as long as you just moving with the left stick not speed boosting or snap vanishing

I have a couple of UI builds for 2 CAC's that I made the night before the DLC dropped 1 is a "universal UI" build which is basically a build thats good for all races, it has the SS Our two strengths aren't just added together and data input replaces the charge skill, now for my male earthling i have 2 UI builds for him because of his aesthetic, his hair is the Blue Goku wig so for UI Sign he doesn't have data input but soaring fist, and for MUI he has the SS Leave the rest to me and data input. I didn't really know what to expect with the awoken so it was basically a reskin of the UI build I already used before the form dropped

Attribute point optimization (PvE>PvP) - +5 qq bang in Ki and Stamina (and lvl 120) - 103 for 10 Ki bars, 45 for 9 stamina bars, do whatever with the rest 274 attribute points! Enjoy!

It still baffles me that people are crutched so much using a ki cancel to get out of combos when someone vanishes behind you Maybe get better timing and use longer combos when they don’t have much stamina to waste to be worried about getting caught in a combo yourself but that’s fine I remember in the show they used to use ki cancels to back out of their own attacks when someone vanished behind them so it’s atleast accurate 🤣

You can negate the negatives by standing still whenecrt you want stamina back while having the opponent be unable to really do anything to stop you. It's great however it changes the animation dodge to data input and not the new ui :(

I am happy because UI transformation is not reward key cancel players. Now this is the real thing here. Where to spent attribute points? Because Ultra Instict needs these points to attack, strike supers and ki blast supers. Having much stamina now seems fatal, because if it is broken ( no matter what super soul you use) will be more punishing, Unless if you use the only one super soul that remains op, You need to be more careful.

With all due respect Ultra Instinct isn’t my favorite transformation. Doesn’t give you any boosts to damage at all and it’s ki blast moves can leave you wide open so you can’t ki cancel or dodge in ranked. That and it could get your stamina drained quickly is you use the dodge ability too many times

*they could change a few things with MUI to make this a lot less viable, make it to where dodging ki blasts costs 10 stamina, melee requires 50 stamina, dodge counter variations (i.e: Ultrasonic blitz/ DBFZ ki blast set up command grab for 100 ki melee counter only, increase damage for inital dodge counter, lower use of inital dodge counter by half a bar [150] and range extention to up it to 250 ki.) and all that stuff. i think the lack of ki cancle balances it out. *since it doesn't increase or decrease damage, the attacks of the counter only scales, for some reason.

@@AManWithAGODComplex I don’t think it is viable for PvP at all. In order for this to work, you have to standing completely still. Getting UI off in a fight will be hard enough as is, as all you have to do is block the impact frame and then guard break your opponent.
