By the way, the dupe glitch only works if you do not use the exact recipe shown in the recipe book. For example, having a blaze rod in the top left corner WILL NOT WORK, it must be placed in any other slot for the dupe glitch to happen, meaning stuff such as redstone -> redstone block can never be duped, but redstone block -> redstone can.

Interestingly, I can’t seem to get some recipes to work. Like for crafting netherite ingots, no matter what orientation I place the gold and scrap, it takes it all out of the inventory like it’s supposed to.

@@matthewvreeke9872 I think it's if the slots all match the recipe book. For your netherite example, the outer slots are always the ones used, so it doesn't matter what orientation they are. But then again, that's just a theory. (A game theory.)

If you can't pull off the Wind Burst combo after the attack speed reduction then it really doesn't seem worth all that effort anymore. Even before I wouldn't have actively sought it out, due to it being so situational :/ Edit: I meant the enchantment, not the item 😬

​​​@@iMind-Juristhe smash attack works just fine, it never was based on Mace being fully charged, so no one stops you from using wind burst for comboes and you won't lose much on damage, sicne it's not based on the tool attack damage

@@iMind-Juris you don't need the mace to be fully charged to do a smash attack/wind burst, I believe there was a bug on this note, but atm it works this way. If Mojang actually would like to fix this, they would definitely need to change the speed of the mace or the height of the wind burst for consecutive comboes to be possible, otherwise they would basically shoot themselves in the leg XD

One “bug” or probably more accurately feature request I want them to implement is to have (trial spawner only) mobs ignore friendly fire and just focus on the player, that way skeleton/bogged fights won’t be a joke

Lots of talk about how bad the mace is now, but with max Density (and Breach if they don't make those mutually exclusive) you can still deal a ton of damage with only a short drop. Jump Boost 2 combined with a critical hit (which happens with pretty much every fall attack) can deal enough damage to one-shot an Evoker, which could be useful in clearing a Woodland Mansion.

However, if you can kill an illager in one hit with JB2, then combining that with invisibility and sneaking could be a comparatively low-risk way to take out a Mansion.

8:22 This was the biggest news for me! Ever since Fire Aspect was added, it was broken only affecting one mob which was the opposite of looting. That was one of the reasons why the enchantment was controversial and skipped. The only remaining downside is mobs on fire having a chance to burn you too. The improvements to the Thorns enchantment are also much appreciated.

He said that now all of the mobs caught withing sweeping edge get affected by fire aspect but just showed clips of how it was before. There were a couple more that I’d rather not write

Mace can be useful in PvP but the other player would have to ambush you or have superb air movement with elytra or whatever.

I liked how the mace was before. It was overpowered because it took a lot to get it. If it was easily attainable then it would make sense it would need a nerf but it doesn't really make sense. I'm not super keeping up with Minecraft, but I fail to see how the Mace is useful if it does less damage than a sword, and has such a ridiculously slow attack speed. I feel like the situations where it was strong, falling a bunch of blocks to do crazy damage, were way too situational to make it "OP". Like you're not going to be falling large distances without killing yourself to deal massive damage to something like a Wither, Ender Dragon, or Warden, without planning to do so quite extensively.

This thing is still better than all weapons combined, now you can't just use it as a sword alternative with bigger damage. Smash attacks works even if the mace is on cooldown and the damage won't be affected much, since most of the damage that mace provides is solely based on the accumulated fall damage. I agree that 0.5 is a bit too rough, but I definitely can see Mojang making it a little bit faster

Neither it can deal unlimited damage and be such a threat that most people call it "Changing PvP forever". It's still as viable, a little bit more annoying to use, but it's fair game considering the amount of damage it provides

@@pqdhiwyw realistically, how could you set that up in a fight unpredictably. Either you are low down or easy to predict, or you are high up and the opponent has plenty of time to more out of the way if they notice you, whether or not they notice you, you might just miss, or they could be too far away. Sure, it could one hit a warden, and it still can, but an unbelievably large amount of factors are needed to line up.

@@Izzythemaker127 the thing is, there are a ton to opportunities for it to hit and the only thing that might make using mace a bad idea is CPvP, which is literally the strongest form of PvP, other than that you don't pay much for missing the hit, while if you actually pull it off, it's insta kill/popped totem

​@@Izzythemaker127 if you want examples of good opportunities to use the mace, here are some: -The opponent is eating to heal up -The opponent is running to regroup -The opponent is in inventory ( low on potions, retotem etc ) -The opponent doesn't have speed and ranged weapons ( specifically wind charges, punch bow and slow falling arrows crossbow ) -The opponent uses shield ( disabling shield is pretty easy and the opponent would be in a vulnerable position ) And many more XD Those are only "good" opportunities, no one stops you from trying to do them literally anytime, you won't lose much from a wind charge fall, since the worst that can happen is the opponent hitting you or trapping you ( you can use pearls )

Is it just me, or have you only demonstrated the bugs with enchantments, and not the patches? Like, all the cases where thorns should work now still didn't cause damage in your video, and your fire aspect demonstration DEFINITELY only lit the mob directly hit. I'm just confused as to why you would demonstrate before and after explaining the changes, if not to demonstrate the changes themselves.

I'm very concerned about Ray Works telling the public if you see any problematic bugs (duplication bugs) to make sure to get them reported. Please do not do this. Your taking a huge risk. How will you know if and when that exact moment is that it's safe, and that exact moment when to stop? I have no desire to lose any of our dupes for any reason. You can report other bugs as you find them on console or your cell phone or computer. Use your common sense. I met an imaginary man who was a resident in the nursing home his mother worked at when he was very young around 7 or 8. He was completely bored because he reported a duplication bug. he's almost 16 now, so I'm guessing this happened to him sometime in the early 10's. It really effected me and the way I feel about these bugs. Please, don't do this. dupe.....for the rest of your life.

Mojang if you read this, you ruined the mace. The recharge is obnoxious, just make it the same as the axe. And now that you can't put breach and density on the same mace, its basically useless. Nobody will use the mace anymore. I mean you can't wind burst combo with the new wind charge, nor will it rly do any damage. End crystals remain the king of pvp

I don't understand the ending of this comment. Like it's so off topic, it's even funny. CPvP always were, is and will be superior to a mace, it's literally the best counter pick for it I agree that 0.5 feels REALLY slow, but it's logical for the Heaviest item in the game to be the Slowest, don't you think? It haven't ruined it whatsoever, maybe except when you could use it instead of a sword and it would make sword obsolete, thanks to a better damage ( breach 4 ). You can still use smash attack ( which also includes wind burst ) while mace isn't fully charged and the damage is pretty much the same ( if we don't count the new calculation of the damage, since its gonna be worse now =)
