Apologies I didn't add the ranger to the list as I don't have it and haven't seen any real BRs for it. So it was a bit unfair to really add to the list. Off just the stats etc I would expect the railgun variant to be B tier and energy variant back end of A tier. I thought I mentioned it in the video and didn't it was another recording I had made of this video 😅

@kennyutoob nope, I mean the cruiser, "Ranger" It's a relatively new cruiser, damphyre forgot to add it to the cruiser tier list. Or at least I think he forgot, he might have just decided not to include it.

They either need to give HC Jaeger the same strategy as HC Eris/Quaoar Railgun, or just give HC Jaeger like, 2 Corvette docks so it can do something aside from taking up space.

The amount of tech abilities available to the KCCPV aircraft type make it still useful even with carriers. I only have CV3Ks on one account and multiple bombers so i swapped those in and they do the trick.

Ok so, yeah ranger, but also skipped over cas integrated, predator AA, and Chimera base. Tho to be fair only the Predator have changed with the UAV's working. But maybe not quite enough to get to A rank. Beyond that i do like the buff to the chaos plasma. I was using it as my main cruiser dpm for a while before this upgrade. Since the skill changes where the light cone became a missile sweep.

The answer to them is st59 front row with energy armor + cas. Good luck with that :)

I leave it midrow; don't waste the armour buff slot. If playing Node, you can move it front if you want anyways. One of the key reasons to leave it midrow is Con Plasma will get hung up on it; with EM Armour I run mine at 60% energy field, so it tends to take a hellish beating from Io's and Con Plasmas, especially backed with decent healers

Also, in midrow missiles/torps will go for it, and you can surround with AA ships (Guardians, Mare T Pulse, etc) and basically turn your midrow into a bandsaw for bombers

You actually have to keep in mind and didn't mention that Conamara Plasma can be intercepted just like the Callisto HT. Just found out while checking my battle reports, that's why I slapped interception modules on my Spears. Greatly reduces enemy dpm.

Those are probably missile interceptions you are talking about. Chaos plasma also got anti air missile which probably targets ships where there are no aircraft.

I'm thinking of a fleet consisting of 4 ios base, 4 ios anti ship, 4 ranger ion, 4 Conomara plasma, and a couple casos. Then you can make another fleet exactly like that. Maybe even chuck in a thunderbolt for that multi fleet damage.

Haven't been able to test it though, because I am missing the full blueprint for the ranger ion. And I don't have any of the ios nor do I have the caso support.

I think the Ranger railgun would high b maybe a tier a from the strategy in the missile launchers where after 6 rounds they all target one ship in the middle or back row with the lowest HP and attack it 3 times. The ion cannon version would be s tier because of the strategy that causes its damage to build up over the entire fight not just for one ship at a time like the heyreddin

Actually it's a cannon. It's a direct upgrade over the WH. Trying it with the alt that got it.

@VegetaGameland problem I feel is they went too far. There should be a balance bringing a mixed fleet in. In our day and age we carriers supported with destroyer and cruisers. In the game we no longer have that...

yes, I am currently building the last 2 CC plasma for a full set of 8. I'll replace my jeagers in my main fleet and run 8 CC plasma 😀

Jupiter Industries + Direct-Fire Weapon + Sustained Combat 14.29% out of 5 ships Io Anti-Ship Type 14.29%. I'"m doing it at the moment 2nd try, my first try gave me Io siege.

The only thing that annoy me with the lightcone multi-role (base veriant) is the TP price of the anit-aircraft network II. 40TP, will take ages before I can afford that

I had a 8 Io anti small, 8 conemara and 12 cas fleet break a full cp v2 cas tank fleet + a full v2 hybrid flank fleet by mistake when crossing a random blockade 30mn total, something like 7M damage, and lost only 1 IO and 1 conemara

@Calozard yeah we tested a full damage set up similar to that in the pilot server and it was beyond insane the damage output of it.

Io A doesn't need UAV's to buff its hit rate to out DPM Io B. Io A is a beast. I had my 8 puny 70 TP Io A's out damage a whales 6 V2 Io B's and 6 V2 Chimera B's combined. 8 sub V2's out damaging 12 V2 ships. Io A is fricken nuts.

it does if its shooting stuff smaller than cruisers. it really struggles to hit high dodge rate front rows.

@@Damphyre imo there isn't enough small high evasive stuff to make a difference, especially when you obviously run more than just 8 Io in a fleet, honestly most annoying front row ships currently imo are the Chimera and Mare I because they retreat to the next row Edit: Also we going to get non member access to that Destroyer tier list soon? ;P

Hey, do you know wat is the research agreement that has the biggest chance to get cruiser? 40% for the io is there one with bigger chance to get cruiser, don't care with one.

@user-lp1nl1kd1c Io is pretty good. You can also aim at the ranger which is also pretty decent with either I think off the top of my head, both ranger variants, vitas B and CTG. So Io or ranger are what I'd suggest.

yeah if it can get through the front row of swarm to start hitting carriers and cruisers it chews em up. The thing with swarm though is its not as tech point dependant as heavy cruiser fleets.
