You know, Hello World has been growing on me, especially in Act 1. It's a solid pick against enemies thta put lots of Status cards in your deck, which happens to be 2/3 of the Act 1 bosses. You can consider it to be kinda like Machine Learning at home, providing +1 draw each turn. And as Baalor said, Defect has very good Common cards, most notably for me being Beam Cell, Cold Snap, Ball Lightning and especially Hologram.

Don't forget Go for the Eyes, which is Defect's only native weak source. Very handy sometimes.

hello world can be a one card solution to the early game that is also a power with its own synergies

Stack can be really nice too. Your discard pile grows a lot faster, plus there's a good chance you'll be able to fish it out with Hologram too. It's not my favourite card because I like to spam powers and Creative AI and it eventually clogs up the deck, but you can't deny that in reality it's a pretty good card early on.

Watching your vids alot since I started playing again. So far I'm on A4 with silent and A2 on defect. Yesterday I realized I'm pretty close to getting the 20 min speed run achievement. Got halfway through the second act when I realized I was under 9 mins lol I will be trying for that achievement this weekend most likely

I'm so baffled by all the questions about the stream title being sarcastic in these last couple of videos. Like, your record was 20 and Xecnar managed to get 19 and people were thinking you were roasting him? What a ridiculous notion! I get it, some of the streamers in the StS community are mean spirited, but Baalor's pretty much the opposite of mean spirited ...

As a defect main I've never thought I'd learn so much from this challenge, knowing that blizzard is amazing. How infinite scaling with consume is viable and how meteor strike is deceptively powerful as an engine especially with snecko

I have no one else to tell this to. I just took a Curse for a Rare Relic and got Shame (makes you Frail) and Turnip (immune to Frail). What are the odds? Needless to say I lost on the first elite

My Winrate in a20 isn't all that high with the defect, but it's quite good with the silent. It used to be the opposite before but something has changed it seems

So I have started using seeds that streamers have on their runs but noticed with other streamers that the runs offer the same card/relic rewards and map layouts except for baarlorlord ,I tried this seed as an example and had different map ,different rewards (no orb slot relics ,no electrodynamics etc etc) it was still a strong seed But very different .I’m playing a20 on pc , the only difference I can see is that baarlorlord has 11 mods whereas the others have 2 or 3 . Is that the reason ?

Probably you're not using the RNG Fix mod that Baalor has.

As the other commenter points out, Baalor is running RNGfix, which as you might imagine, impacts rng. So to get the same results as Baalor, you need to also use RNGfix.
