I have seen speed runners do something similar in Tanglewood where they play at ~12x with sprint, flashlight and low hiding places on so they can get in the house and hear the ghost once. This really increased the chance of getting the ghost type with each play getting them around 1200 in about 5 mins. They wait only for one hunt before making a guess...

This isn't exactly a glitch and is just luck based, surely if you want to enjoy the game you would want to learn 0 evidence mode, and make 3000+ every 5 minutes rather than just guessing. At least you are having fun and it also more profitable then this method as you could go hours without guessing the correct ghost.

I agree glitch might have been the wrong word to use. This 100% is luck based, and there is no guarantee you will guess the ghost correctly. HOWEVER, I have noticed that some ghosts are more common than others, which allowed me to somewhat guess the ghost

​@@spicyantpizza_ you played only 160 games, which is not a remotely significant sample to claim that some ghosts are more likely to appear. When dealing with super low probabilites (4.16% in that case), bigger sample size are required because odds gets all over the place. Example, after 50 games you have 11.9% chance of not seeing the ghost you are looking for, and after 100 games you still have 29.1% chance of seeing none of atleast one variety of ghost.

Not really a glitch. I think the 12.97x strat is better, and you actually gain some experience, which will help when you play proper games. Two things I would like to add/ask: 1 - You can set the fuse box to broken, and increase the multiplier a bit more 2 - Why not play in Sunny Meadows unrestricted? It's basically the same thing, and you gain 200$ if you guess the ghost right.

Agree, not a glitch at all, and I believe you can see the ghost you have run into most often in the statistics (might be thinking about a diff game but doubt it).

How is this a glitch? You are literally just guessing. This is not a glitch nor a exploit because this method sucks if you know your ghosts

This is just purely luck and can take a lot of time. i do the 12.97x strat on camp woodwind where i can take out a lot of ghosts within 2 minutes of the game, if i want to guess from there it's way better odds than your method + this method makes you learn types of ghosts based on their behaviour and speed etc

I just tried this and i was doing poltergeist and at the last second i swapped to yurei then, I got back and it was poltergeist ofcourse it was poltergeist then i tried again it was poltergeist again my luck is so bad

I don't understand why anyone would do this. If you play the game properly for no more than 5 days, you will get to a point where you can do 12x no evidence runs in a few minutes and get the same amount of money consistently.

But why would you take any equipment if you're not actually going inside? You're wasting way more money on equipment when you get it wrong than you are making when you get it right and with very small odds

This is pretty stupid. Why would any ghost type be more likely to appear than another? This is randomly generated so chance for every ghost is 1/24 except for very new players. Chance for them is 1/23 because at the beginning deogen doesn't appear. Ultimately better strategy would be to go in the building at the entrance and wait for 1 hunt if this is ghost you can identify by footsteps. (speed, slow, loud, quiet). Calling it glitch is just a clickbait.

As a casual high difficulty player (10 or higher), just do one hunt on edge field, tanglewoord, rigeview, willow, camp wood wind. Based on the info you can get around 60k xp an hour.
